Globber One K180

Very disappointing experience with Globber. Hand brake broke on Globber One K180 in first 5 weeks! – This is an expensive scooter that you expect to function without issue. This was not the case for me. The Globber One K180 scooter was purchased late March 2020 by a mum to accompany her kids to the local shops and park. It had been used less than on 10 occasions (less than 5 weeks ownership of the scooter) and the handbrake cable went slack while riding to the shops causing the front wheel to be in a locked in position where it now remains. Globber refuses to honour the warranty saying it is not a warranty issue and informed me that any regular bike shop could fix it. This was not the case as we discovered after visiting two bike shops. The problem is that the brake cord was not fixed properly during assembly of the scooter. I would not recommend buying any Globber scooter having seen their ‘all care, no responsibility’ attitude towards customers once they have your money.

Globber scooter – We brought a globber scooter three wheel 2 years and 4 months ago. We brought this brand as we thought for the price we were buying quality. The only persons who has used the scooter was aged 18 mths - 4 years. We have had to replace the springs in it once and just recently the main chassi at the front has cracked. When I contacted the globber suppliers their answer was its out of warranty by 4 months you can buy the part ! We have a Kmart scooter also and it has lasted longer than this scooter and was quarter of the price ! I would not recommend this brand ! Instead of honouring the brand they were happy to let a customer walk away unhappy and no working scooter !

Warranty Honoured by Globber & ActiveOutThere – After publishing my review titled "Warranty disappointment with Globber" and writing an email to the company expressing my dissatisfaction with the scooter I had bought my grandson, ActiveOutThere has sent me a replacement scooter. Many thanks to them for doing so. It would have been great if it hadn't taken so many phone calls and 80 km of travel (resulting in the first scathing review) to get the end result, but I am very happy to be giving my grandson the new scooter this weekend. And it is the Primo model, thanks so much.

Amazing Scooter and Above and Beyond Customer Service From Warranty Team – I have been given a gift Globber Mytoo 180mm City push scooter and its a great Scooter with very easy kick fold system. The scooter is great for city and gives an effortless ride in the city. Easy to fold and carry on public transport. I had a small squeaking sound in the tyres and I found it annoying and used to attract attention when riding and I reported it to the main distributor - www.activeoutthere.com.au. The Gentleman at the warranty team was amazing and he helped out and sent a new set of tyres and a brake pad for the scooter. The delivery via courier was fast and communication was amazing.
