top speed in about one and a half seconds instead of jumping to top speed straight away. This puts less stress on the whole saw. Some people have found that the clamp won't close right up, but all you have to do is move the fixed clamp to the closer bolt holes. My saw has had a lot of use in the last 10 years and it has certainly paid for itself many times over. The only thing I'm concerned about now that GMC doesn't exist in Australia anymore is where I'm going to get new brushes for this saw when they wear out.
Does the job – I've had one for around three years now and have used it quite a bit. However the most annoying part is that the fence to hold your stock to be cut doesn't go any closer than around twenty millimeters. This means anything under this needs to be packed to be cut. It could be modified but I'm too lazy. Does the job easily in most situations The fence to hold whatever is being cut. Company no longer in business
