Died after nearly three years - 11 months after the warranty ran out – Was ok for about 12 months, was noisy. The rotating bit was irritating. Did not have a fan only mode. It was slow heating or fast heating and I had to be quite close to feel warm. It was not a good room heater. Was unstable - did not take much to knock it over - tho the cut out worked. Would stop working the second you picked it up to move it.
And then the bottom fan stopped working. So it would overheat after a minute and not run at all.
Was put together in such away that the fan could not be accessed or fixed.
Purchased from harvey norman marion rd. Haven't asked them about reasonable life expectancy or acceptable durability yet (australian consumer law). My previous heaters lasted 30 years and 15 years without problems so three years is crap.
Garbage.
I have a small kambrook that has lasted longer (it's pushing 10 years old now) and heats better.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $89.

Very noisy heater – You are always going to get some noise from this type of heater but this particular brand had not only the sound of a fan but a really annoying buzzing noise. I took it back to the store because I thought there was a fault with it but the display model made the same noise. I couldn't have this heater in the house, after five minutes it was giving me a headache. Luckily the shop let me exchange for another heater. I ended up getting a Dimplex ceramic tower and it is brilliant!
