myself to driving more gingerly than Ron Weasley from Hogwarts for the first corner. I entered at a speed that I felt would be more than enough for my tyres to handle.

Not only did my front tyres go pretty much straight in the corner, after a few seconds, the rear tyres decided they weren't going to be bested by the fronts and consequently decided to up the game in the tyres conjoined mission to head into oncoming traffiic.

Luckily for me, a quick reaction counter steer and praying to the gods of traction (who up to this point were playing poker in their godly basement) decided to spare me a couple of milliseconds of grip to keep me (mostly) in my side of the road.

But I'm not here to rag on a good set of tyres. To their merit, the tyres are extremely durable. I'm talking like 3 things to survive a nuclear winter. Cockroaches, the character from Fallout 3, and these tyres. I've driven on them for about 10,000kms now, and I swear to god tread was actually added to the tyres. They will never run out.
