bad customer service – I ordered the material to build a colorbond fence wtih a gate. This is my first times to order the colorbond material from this company. I had been told that the gate hinges can be supported up to 25 kg so the staff put down two packages of the gate hinges ( total 4 hinges) but the actually each package of gate hinges can support up to 45kg for… Read more

moving and 70kg for the own weight. I received the material on 22 August 2023 and I just finished my fence today (25 August 2023) so I go to ask for the refund due to the wrong information from the planning with staff, however, the senior person is very impolite with me and refuse to me for the return of the superflous hinges. His excuste was "it was too late". My friend said it is never too late and he was asked to leave the office. I believer that under the consumer law if the product been unuse and unopen which should been accepted for the returned. I am considering to refer my issue to the fare trading department.

Their coloured steel Gates – I bought about 80 metres of fencing and two driveway gates, with trellis on part of the fence and on both gates i.e. across the front of the property, from a fencer who used Gramline materials and design. bigger screws than the screws supplied and fitted by the fencer. I did and they still sagged. The main reason seems to be a lack of a diagonal support which allows the weight of the gates to cause sagging. I am unable to close the gates at present as they jamb together and they drag on the floor at the non-hinge end. I filled in the message area on their website advising of my problem and asking for advice or suggestions and they have not bothered to answer. Picture shows one gate and one section of fence. Note the piece of wood under the gate supporting the non-hinge end.
