Great machine for the price

My machine is identicle to the great bull ,..just a different name , has the 20HP Chinese motor key start... although Chinese, they have been very well designed and built they are effortless and quite easy to use, i would say the very best part is the mulching shoot , it makes fine mulch for the garden .
Anyone thinking of buying one, i would say yes. Show details

Excellent bought the GBD601CH

Wanted the one with the Honda motor so bought the H version. Its an awesome Chipper Shredder, does what they advertise, very thick branches and just keeps going and going. Faultless operations and great service received from the shop. Called and discussed my needs and then ordered online. Thoroughly recommend this i have a large residential block with lots of trees that get trimmed regularly. Show details

The perfect chipper/mulcher

Powered by Briggs & Stratton, this Greabtull chipper is one of the best I have used. It’s easy to start, has a big engine and a mulching function as well. I have been chipping thick branches and mulching weeds and palm tree leaves. Took the machine back to the store for a service, they changed the blades and it’s running as good as ever.

Motor is good, shredder is ok, branch cutter is ordinary. Would i buy it again, probably not. The branch cutter doesn't deliver and the waste is so low that the waste backs up into the machine and needs constant clearing.

Did any one have trouble with the output chute ........ mine only throws the mulch a maximum of 500mm away from machine .... and so blocks up the chute after only seconds of use ..... did anyone use the bag supplied ?

Hi Reece, it is probably the only downside to the shredder, i made a stand to get it higher of the ground , which helps, but you still have to keep the material out of the way, having it higher means you don't have to keep clearing it as often.

I would agree that it is a downside, also the rated capacity of the chipper chute is 3 inches, this would only be for very soft wood
