Excellent Solvol bar Replacement – I agree with shanexu3. It's a very good product, I've been purchasing 20 bars at a time through a mob called Southland Supply Group which are great to deal with. The last time I ordered was May 2022 and I just ordered another 20 today. It initially cost $4.20 per bar delivered back in '22 and now it's $5.70. I haven't found anything that comes close to the original Solvol bars except GritMitts, I can recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative.

Works well to remove grease and grime – I have been looking for a replacement grit soap ever since they discontinued solvol. I found GritMitts Harvey Duty Soap Bar at my local Repco. I purchased a few bars in February 2022 for only $3 a bar but six months on they have now been jacked up to $4 a bar. It’s a good gritty soap, less grit than the original solvol but still a good soap that removes grease and grime from your hands. It’s the closest alternative to solvol I have found to date. I am not happy about the price hike but I do appreciate that these gritmitts bars are made in Australia.
