Couldn't have picked a better dryer
I've never purchased a haier appliance before this dryer and I'm surprised with the quality as it's top notch also days clothes very quickly fatser then other brands I've owned in the past! Looks amazing also

Drying review:
The ‘Auto’ (or Sensor) option: 5*****- takes the guess work out of drying time-Estimates drying time based on humidity in dryer - often not right on large items like sheets, requiring second run - better than over-drying though.
Timed drying options: 3*** - Heat selection E.g. warm or hot - Not offered.
Such an amazing product and couldn't live without it to be honest.
This is such a great item it not leaves my clothes feeling warm soft cuddly but also leaves them smelling fresh and cleaner for longer but also I add in 1 dryer sheet for anti static of clothes and fabric Clean this product is also ideal to have for those Nast grey wet weather days that leave you wondering where to put your clothes in time and that be dry enough for any special occasions or for work the following day. Worked great for 6 months
Did everything I needed for a two person household...until today (six months old). Drum won't turn, motor humming loudly and a burning smell. On the plus side only have to wait three days for a technician, and have to ask a friend to wait here for 5 hours since I can't get away from work to be here. (I work over an hour away).

Economical & quiet.
I've used this a fair bit since purchasing. I use it for general clothing to Towels & work wear. It's very quiet & quick. I've got a smart meter for my electricity & the consumption was quite low. I'm impressed with this purchase.

Great cheap dryer well worth it
We recently got this dryer as we moved, can not fault it. Quick, doesn’t shrink, doesn’t make a lot of heat and cheap to run! We put everything from fleece to cotton in it without issue.

Great value for money
This was the first dryer I bought and I am very impressed. It was well priced and didn’t break the bank. It works really well and dries my clothes in minutes without shrinking or ruining them. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase and would definitely recommend. It’s also very modern looking and looks great in my laundry.

Does the job
Dries clothes fine but I’m disappointed in this as it’s noisy when in use. Also makes noises after use , technician says it’s the metal contracting . Never had that with any other dryer . As I’m a senior citizen I don’t want to go through the hassle of getting it replaced as I would have to pay someone to take it down off wall then reinstall a new one.

Love my new dryer I couldnt live without it now I got one great product very satisfied.
Love my new dryer saves me alot of stress worring about people stealing cloths offer our line but not anymore thank so much for my new dryer love it couldnt live without it now I've have a dryer I'm washing more cloths just so I can use it and plus it keeps the house warm I warm my daughters school uniforms up in it for her when she wakes up to get dressed in the cold morning lovely warm cloths and towels after a shower

No fuss, gets the job done
Hi, I have been using this for close to 8 months now. No problems. Takes about hours for heavy load. Was very useful in the winter. The lint remover is also very convenient.

Great value for money
Auto dry function is very convenient. But sometimes clothes still bit wet after auto drying. Not a big problem because I could run 30mins or 1 hour more manually. Would recommend it.

Nice and quick ..
I usually pop towels in for 10minutes after bringing them off the clothes line to "fluff" them up.
Or l dry underwear in it.
Very quick and electrically economical .
Easy to clean the vent.
Energy Saver
This dryer has a sensor to stop automatically when the clothes are dry. It is a very good valued product too.

Have wall mounted and looking to replace with correct decal, however the knob is so tight it pull the unit away from the wall and feels as if it will break, anyone else have any issue with it? Is there a trick, there's nothing in the manual.
Yes - had same issue. No- there is no trick. Just left the original label in place and learned to read upside down. Disappointed - but did not want to risk it and Haier were no help.
Cheers it definately feels like it's going to break something if I try to take it off.
Haier HDV40A1 4kg vented dryer.... this is my 1st time buying a dryer and have a question or 2.. is this suppose to have a hose, if so I never received one in box and also what can you put underneath it to protect tiles and make sure it's level on floor?? I'm too worried to try this until I know, mainly in regards to the hose part

no it does not need a hose for it at all you can put the block off cap cover for it on and it comes out the front of the unit I mean the ventilation heat and air will once the back is blocked off. Also you can get like a gym mat and cut to size and put underneath it to protect tiles and Level it also or get one those heavy duty rubber mats from Bunnings and put under it either those will do the job just perfect. Or if your good with tools you can put it up on the wall upside down and out the way of having to worry about tiles.

Thank you for your reply and that's good to know don't need a hose for it and in regards to making it level or protect tiles can I try put up on table wooden top metal frame or best to use rubber mat?? So sorry for all these questions , i really dont want to stuff dryer up. And no im not handy at all with tools and dont really have the help to mount on wall...

I'm concerned if not level will stuff the dryer up . My laundry is kinda level but also kinda on a slope if that helps. And don't know where else to put it honestly, I want to keep in laundry area near my top loader washing machine. I will to try dryer out and hoping it works and doesn't make noises..... I have read good review's and bad reviews about this dryer.......
