the Worst Dryer Ever

Do not waste your MONEY on this dreadful dryer!!! From day one it didn't perform, had a noice to it, it rumbles loudly when it turns one way. As it tumbles two ways- to the Left and to the right, one way is ok the other way it's very loud, it's awful. It often stops (apparently has an automatic sensor) when it isn't even dry. Had it for 4 years and it just died. If I could get my $ back, I definitelly would! Shame on you HAIER! Should have returned it when still in warranty! Guess they know why they offer 2 years warranty, they don't expect it to last past that. And it literally did just that. Not happy at all! Total waste of money and it wasn't that cheap! Do not buy this product. Show details

Haier dryer is much better than our previous Simpson dryer

Great dryer so far. Our Simpson dryer died, just out of warranty of course, never worked properly from the beginning, sensor drying was way out, almost every load I had to dry twice. But, I'm several loads in with my new Haier dryer, and it has dried perfectly every time. Should definitely see a saving on my electricity bill now. Got a great deal at Good Guys, not only did they match Appliances Online price, they beat it. Only thing that could make it better is to have a cooler setting, but honestly I've always just used the hottest setting anyway on my dryers.I use my dryer daily, clothing, towels & bedding. Clothes come out so soft. Show details

Doesn’t dry sometimes even after 120 mins

Says it all in the subject. Oh and small items get stuck in the filter often.

Owned this dryer for 5 years!

Apart from door catch replaced under warranty this dryer has worked hard for our large family. Used everyday with several loads a day. Would not hesitate to buy another! Show details

Don’t waste your money

Absolute rubbish!!! Ok if you live on your own and have one towel to dry. Don’t like that the dial doesn’t count down time but thought I can live with that, but a when you put a load and I’m taking pyjamas and undies in and they are still damp after 3 hours …. Well I’d say it’s a dud. Don’t waste your money Show details

Do Not Waste Your Money

Absolute Rubbish - This is the worst dryer I have ever owned, it takes forever to dry your clothes has this stupid anti wrinkle feature which doesn't even work but it can't be disabled and don't even think about drying sheets or towels as it doesn't matter what you do or what accessories you put in the dryer to stop the rolling into a ball and subsequent banging within the dryer it still does it. Don't be fooled by the reviews if you live in an apartment like me which requires the use of a dryer every time I wash this dryer is crap do not buy. Show details

Faulty after warranty

Today this dryer started making a very loud scraping noise when Turing anti clockwise.
Spoke with support said it was out of warranty and that I would need to foot the bill to have it looked at. If it was found to be economically fixable I’d be charged the call out fee and the cost of fixing it. I think I’d be better off buying a more reputable brand as who knows what else can go wrong once it’s been fixed. Don’t waste your money and go with another brand  Show details

This dryer is so good!

Replacing a 20 year old Simpson, wasn't expecting anything special but wait! Haier has an auto setting that is brilliant. It does not overdry the clothes and as the drum rotates in both directions crease and lint as significantly reduced. I am speechless. It's just a dryer but a very good one. Also have a Haier fridge that is very good. Used to buy Fisher and Paykel (like a good Kiwi) but Haier now own F&P, so there appears to be a bit more than you expect in a 2nd tier brand. Show details

Great dryer

After living in Brisbane for 18 mths having moved from Melbourne, we have little need for a dryer. However, we buckled and decided to buy one after a week of rain and lack of line space. So, we don’t use it often but when we do it does the trick. It sits comfortably on top of our front loading washing machine, I can dry one item of clothing or several towels equally well. It’s quite enough, has an easily accessed effective lint filter, (doesn’t cover the walls with excess lint) Has an easy to use dial with more than enough cycle options to select from. Overall... it does what it’s designed to do effectively, efficiently at a low purchase price. Very happy. Show details

24/7 support is a week late!!

I purchased the tumble drier and have had it wall mounted. I have asked the company how to remove the control knob safely so I can fit the new sticker as the fitted one is now upside down. I have been awaiting a response for over a week even though they say they respond within 4 business hours. Really pathetic customer service!! Show details

Does a Bauer dryer modelHDV6OA1 turn itself of after the time set

Hi, my dryer works on auto or air dry but on the minute settings goes intermittently but doesn’t finish a full cycle. Lint is cleaned constantly so that is not the issue. Is it just the model?

Features

  • An automatic sensor feature detects when clothes are too dry, or not dry enough, and operates the dryer accordingly.
  • Reverse tumble action helps wet clothes to become evenly dried.
  • Front and rear venting allows more damp air to be released from the dryer. A hose pipe is required to transfer this air from out of the back of the dryer outside, so it doesn’t cause excess humidity.
  • A lint filter lets you remove built-up lint to keep the dryer operating optimally.
  • Wall mountable brackets are included, saving space in small laundries if you install the dryer on the wall.
  • A provided stacking kit lets you ‘stack’ the dryer on top of a Haier front loader washing machine.
  • This vented clothes dryer has an energy efficiency of 2 stars. This makes its running costs higher than an equivalently sized dryer that’s more efficient.
