Do not buy. Exploded with a loud bang and black smoke filled the house with only 2 towels in it and only on for about 5 minutes. 3 years old. Take it back and get your money back. Show details
Worst purchase ever. The dryer barely dries clothes, takes forever, and leaves everything damp with a musty smell. Loud, inefficient, and a complete waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this model.
2 years ago, upon delivery, I already needed a replacement! The door latch did not align properly. Right on 2 years, it started to malfunction and ceased after 2 minutes of hot drying. Absolute piece of rubbish. Show details

Basic vented dryer – Replaced and old Hoover which had expired, I wanted a vented sensor dryer (for light weight) with reverse tumbling drum. The dryer works well on mixed loads of clothing or towels and does not overheat the items. Unfortunately, sheets tumble into a ball and will not dry despite the reverse function. Apart from this I do recommend the dryer (now 2 years old).

Haier dryer is much better than our previous Simpson dryer – Great dryer so far. Our Simpson dryer died, just out of warranty of course, never worked properly from the beginning, sensor drying was way out, almost every load I had to dry twice. But, I'm several loads in with my new Haier dryer, and it has dried perfectly every time. Should definitely see a saving on my electricity bill now. Got a great deal… Read more
at Good Guys, not only did they match Appliances Online price, they beat it. Only thing that could make it better is to have a cooler setting, but honestly I've always just used the hottest setting anyway on my dryers.I use my dryer daily, clothing, towels & bedding. Clothes come out so soft.
Owned this dryer for 5 years! – Apart from door catch replaced under warranty this dryer has worked hard for our large family. Used everyday with several loads a day. Would not hesitate to buy another! Show details
Simple and Easy to operate – I only use for lighter items which dry quickly in this. So easy to use especially the auto setting turns of when clothes are dried. No damage or shrinkage to my clothes Show details

Don't buy! – I purchased mine from Appiances Online. It takes 1.5hrs to dry a bath towel but I didn't make a complaint. It takes 3hrs to completely dry normal home wear. At 2 yrs 1 month, the heat stopped working. Haier quoted $170 for just the call out. Now I am looking to buy a brand new one!! Show details
the Worst Dryer Ever – Do not waste your MONEY on this dreadful dryer!!! From day one it didn't perform, and had a noise to it, it rumbled loudly when it turned one way. As it tumbles two ways- to the Left and to the right, one way is ok the other way it's very loud, it's awful. It often stops (apparently has an automatic sensor) when it isn't even dry. Had it for 4… Read more
years and it just died. If I could get my $ back, I definitely would! Shame on you HAIER! Should have returned it when still in warranty! Guess they know why they offer 2 years warranty, they don't expect it to last past that. And it literally did just that. Not happy at all! Total waste of money and it wasn't that cheap! Do not buy this product.
Don’t waste your money – Absolute rubbish!!! Ok if you live on your own and have one towel to dry. Don’t like that the dial doesn’t count down time but thought I can live with that, but a when you put a load and I’m taking pyjamas and undies in and they are still damp after 3 hours …. Well I’d say it’s a dud. Don’t waste your money Show details

Good dryer for the price. Does what it says on the box – I replaced my almost 15-year-old Hoover Dryer and passed it down to my daughter. I did a search for reasonably priced dryers and found the HAIER 6kg for $395 at the Good Guys Mackay. I liked the feature of reverse tumble and Auto dry. The Auto dry works a treat on MOST loads. It gets a little tricked up with a King Size quilt cover, but I did… Read more
expect that. It dries a load of towels perfectly, (Provided they are of a similar density) With a mix of thick and thin towels, the thick towels are not quite dry when used on auto. It is something I can easily live with though. It dries quickly, much quicker than the Hoover did. People have complained that the time dial doesn't move to indicate how long is left. It isn't difficult to open the dryer and have a feel to see if they are dry or not. My Hoover had a countdown timer, and I still had to open and check to see if my clothes were dry, If not, you turned it back on for another set time. It is only early days with the new dryer and it has had a good workout with this inclement weather, but I'm happy with the purchase so far.
Do Not Waste Your Money – Absolute Rubbish - This is the worst dryer I have ever owned, it takes forever to dry your clothes has this stupid anti wrinkle feature which doesn't even work but it can't be disabled and don't even think about drying sheets or towels as it doesn't matter what you do or what accessories you put in the dryer to stop the rolling into a ball and… Read more
subsequent banging within the dryer it still does it. Don't be fooled by the reviews if you live in an apartment like me which requires the use of a dryer every time I wash this dryer is crap do not buy.
Good product but could be better – The machine arrived today and very happy with it BUT....I purchased it specifically as it could be stacked on top of my existing Haier washing machine and as clearly stated in all advertising a "stacking bracket" is included. Before purchase after looking at pics on numerous sites re the combination I was under the impression it would be a square… Read more
plastic bracket that would sit on top of the washer and then the dryer would slot inside on top. To my amazement the "stacking bracket" is actually 2 small right angled metal pieces that the manufacturers supplied instructions advise to attach these 2 brackets to the left and right side to pre existing holes in the bottom of the drier but then onsite DRILL 4 holes in the top of the washing machine and secure with screws!!! OK it is a laundry but I cannot believe that any brand would supply a product like this. Not only would it look unsightly but I do not intend to drill holes in the top of my washing machine. Surely at Factory manufacturing cost a proper bracket could be supplied? (which could also double as a shipping protector) Good product but needs further minor development.

Faulty after warranty – Today this dryer started making a very loud scraping noise when Turing anti clockwise. Spoke with support said it was out of warranty and that I would need to foot the bill to have it looked at. If it was found to be economically fixable I’d be charged the call out fee and the cost of fixing it. I think I’d be better off buying a more reputable… Read more
brand as who knows what else can go wrong once it’s been fixed. Don’t waste your money and go with another brand
This dryer is so good! – Replacing a 20 year old Simpson, wasn't expecting anything special but wait! Haier has an auto setting that is brilliant. It does not overdry the clothes and as the drum rotates in both directions crease and lint as significantly reduced. I am speechless. It's just a dryer but a very good one. Also have a Haier fridge that is very good. Used to… Read more
buy Fisher and Paykel (like a good Kiwi) but Haier now own F&P, so there appears to be a bit more than you expect in a 2nd tier brand.
Good value to money – I was thinking a big surge in my power bill because i got the dryer when it was continuously raining and i had to use it a alot for kids cloths. But to be Honest i can't notice any significant increase in my monthly power bills Show details
Great dryer – After living in Brisbane for 18 mths having moved from Melbourne, we have little need for a dryer. However, we buckled and decided to buy one after a week of rain and lack of line space. So, we don’t use it often but when we do it does the trick. It sits comfortably on top of our front loading washing machine, I can dry one item of clothing or… Read more
several towels equally well. It’s quite enough, has an easily accessed effective lint filter, (doesn’t cover the walls with excess lint) Has an easy to use dial with more than enough cycle options to select from. Overall... it does what it’s designed to do effectively, efficiently at a low purchase price. Very happy.
24/7 support is a week late!! – I purchased the tumble drier and have had it wall mounted. I have asked the company how to remove the control knob safely so I can fit the new sticker as the fitted one is now upside down. I have been awaiting a response for over a week even though they say they respond within 4 business hours. Really pathetic customer service!! Show details
Good Appliance – I was under strict instructions to purchase a big dryer and this fitted the bill perfectly. Easy to use controls and works well. Good looking appliance that does the job. Show details
Dries clothes efficiently. Set and forget – Dries clothes efficiently. The automatic setting means I can 'set and forget'. The fluff filter is so easy to lift out and empty. Seems to suit any type of clothes and is very gentle. I've even put woolen items in on cool setting. Show details
DO NOT BUY IT – Purchased this dryer because it has decent reviews. I’ve owned it for less then a month and it has stopped working. Cycle doesn’t start and light just flashes. Don’t buy. Show details
Good value dryer - its big! – I got this on price and because you get a full sized 6 kg dryer whereas the same thing in Fisher and Paykel would be tiny. Its really well made and its doing a fabulous job. I love how clothes don't bundle due to the two way action. My old Simpsons would have everything in a big soggy ball unless you were careful not to overload it. This is good. Show details

Great dryer, Great price – I purchased this dryer last month after my old one broke. I am very happy with it, the auto dry function saves my electricity bill by turning the dryer off once it’s done, the size of it is great for the price, I can fit so much more per load than my old dryer, which means I get everything dry in half the time. Would definitely recommend. Show details
Great dryer – Very pleased with this good value dryer from Haier. They are not the one of the traditional brands but they have been around long enough now that I thought I would try then out as you got more bang for your buck with them. Its got a big capacity 6kg and its reversing which I definitely wanted . It also senses when the load is dry which is great as it saves wasted on time. Overall very happy with it so far Show details
Excellent dryer - does a great job – I am happy with this Haier dryer. Had my doubts at first because I hadn't heard of them but I was reassured they are a well known brand these days and its turned out well. Its big - 6kg which means it can take a whole machine load at once. Its fast - it seem to get the job done a lot quicker than my old Simpson and I really appreciate the reverse… Read more
tumbling action. - nothing balls up. It also is pretty efficient because it senses the end of the drying automatically, A good experience to date.
Cheap And Good – We had to get a new dryer but we didn't want to spend the earth on it as its not a very exciting purchase. This Haier seemed to offer a lot for the price so we went with it. It has been a good choice. It just works! It runs quiet and smooth and efficiently does its work drying our clothes when needed. There is plenty of room for a load and there is no maintenance other than remembering to clean the lint filter. Its a good machine Show details
Great value – Oir old Hoover dryer finally died agter 13 years of service so we went hunting for a cheap replacement. Normally used for sox and jocks or in emergancy on cold days, but we find we are using tje dryer more now. A lot quieter than the previous dryer and works perfectly. Based on cost this was a great buy. Show details
Quiet And Efficient – Very happy with this dryer. It hardly makes any noise when running and is big enough to take a whole washing load in one go. Clothes come out all fluffed and and nice to wear. It seems well made . I guess time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good. Would buy the same one again. Show details
Does what it says – For the price point, this is exactly what I needed. A cheap dryer to use when it's raining and we need to wash the kids clothes. We don't use a clothes dryer every day, and so an expensive bells-and-whistles dryer wasn't needed. This does the job nicely. At 6kg, it's a larger capacity, so when we need to get lots of clothes dry this can do it. It's quiet too, which is a bonus. Show details
Clothes Dryer – Great drying without wrinkles. No noise very quiet. Good size for my laundry. Towels come out nice and fluffy. Saves on ironing, Good value for money, just as good as Expensive brands. I would buy another Haier product. I am very happy with my new dryer. I would recommend a Haier dryer to other customers. too expensive for what it is – like 400 and it is so basic wow, i dont understand why it is so pricey for what it is/ It does do the job as of course with chicldren you need it in winter. I think the price is the lowest one available but talked to the delivery driver and he said this brand is iffy Show details
WORKHORSE OF A MACHINE! – I purchased this dryer to help with getting clothes and towel s dried in winter. I have put this dryer through the ringer so to speak and it has never failed. Very quiet, never over heats and love that it has the anti crease function so your clothes don't get creased. Love the tumble effect so nothing gets knotted in the machine. Show details
best purchase – love this clothes dryer best I've owned so far. it's quiet doesn't overheat leaves clothes so soft and wrinkle free. it's has a few different options I love the auto option it just turns off when clothes are dry. power bill hasn't gone up at all and I use it at least twice a week. Doesn’t dry sometimes even after 120 mins – Says it all in the subject. Oh and small items get stuck in the filter often.
