Great Dishwasher – Inherited 7 years ago when moved into different home. I don't know how old it is but probably about 15+ years. It works PERFECTLY every time. It is noisier than other dishwashers and does take a long time, heading towards 2 hours. However, other more modern dishwashers take just as long if not longer. I only use one setting 'normal' and quick… Read more

rinse dishes under tap before loading so no food scraps are placed in the dishwasher. Only been clogged once when a lemon pip got through my visual screening. I have thought once or twice to replace (because of its age and the noise) but each time been dissuaded by thought of buying a modern lemon. Previous dishwashers experienced have been ASKO and one other higher range Swedish dishwasher. No difference on performance. Noise really only issue. Can't believe how awfully unlucky some of your reviewers have been. Ok so here's my expectation, basic dishwashing box which cleans dishes well, don't need frills. It does that, it doesn't leak. Well done Haier.

You get what you pay for! – The wash from this dishwasher is pretty average. But worst of all for me it's extremely loud, akin to a waterfall falling in our kitchen. One saving grace point for this is it out lasted our other major branded dishwasher. You do get what you pay for. Show details

Worst dishwasher – Only works on a heavy cycle and even then, dishes can still come out dirty! Is extremely loud as well. Definitely not worth the money as it uses a lot of water.

Works for us – Was already in the kitchen so not new. We have been using with powder so not sure of there is a problem with tablets like others stated. No problems for us

Worst "Dishwasher" Do waste your money – THE WORST Dishwasher no matter what brand of Dishwashing Tablets you buy it will not wash properly. Only works on HEAVY cycle & we rinse everything before it goes in - & yet things can come up dirtier than when you put it in. Majority of the time it won't even dissolve the Finish Tablet... and you end up washing everything by hand anyway! So it… Read more

literally wastes your money & time.

My Husband cleans the inside constantly & as I said we never put anything in that hasn't been rinsed & no food or drink actually to wash off... yet it still makes more work for you in the end.

Constantly needs to be RESET before it will start on HEAVY Cycle. It is so temperamental & biggest waste of money.

Was already in our home when we moved in - I highly recommend NOT BUYING this & get another brand that will actually wash your dishes!

The worst dishwasher I have ever used or heard of – The worst. Never does it wash properly - even after two cycles back to back, I still pull dishes out filthy. Glad product review exists so I can warn others to stay away from HAIER brand altogether. We have tried dishwasher tablets/powder of every brand and still, this absolute piece of crap does such a bad job, I sometimes wonder if it made… Read more

some dishes worse than before they went through the cycle or two.

In the past, I've bought plenty of brand new appliances of various brands in the low price range, and this is the only one that has failed miserably.

Hate It. I Agree Avoid Like The Plague – It is horrible at cleaning. Not hygienic. It louder than going to a rock concert. The dishwasher only cleans on heavy wash and it washes for a few minutes and then stops. It is so sad that people by a dishwasher like this and then has to buy new one or hand wash each dish individually. PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT! Very Disappointed.  Show details

Hopeless piece of crap – We have moved into an apartment for three months, which is fitted with this model dishwasher. It is simply the worst dishwasher I have ever used. The top and bottom racks constantly fall out of their slots, and the top rack can easily fall out (full of dishes). I would get better dish washing capability using a garden hose at 10 feet. I can't… Read more

believe Haier have the audacity to put their name on this device. Based on this dishwasher I will avoid the 'Haier' brand like the plague.

CRAP – This dishwasher is a joke. Never washes anything, having to hand wash everything. Have tried different types of powder tablet and liquid and still is crap! Absolute waste of money! Very disappointed and disgusted as to how pathetic this dishwasher is! Might as well just hand wash the dishes myself. Would be easier than putting things in the dishwasher.

avoid like the plague – This is the worst xishwasher I have used - EVER. You need to literally scrub every last scrap of dirt off your dishes before you put them in - thus defeating the object of having one, if you fail to do so then the dirt is either spread over all the other dishes, or sticks fast. This is true regardless of the programme used (the only difference… Read more

between heavy and normal being the time).

It's not very spacious and there are no folding pieces so its difficult to pack. It is noisy too. The only reason we use it is because of the low water consumption. We rent so we can't even change it.

The only redeeming feature is that its pretty decent at drying

Would never buy another HAIER again, waste of money – I purchased this dishwasher a few years ago now because my Dishlex died. I purchased it because of its water rating and energy rating. From the first use l found it a huge disappointment, it does not clean dishes well unless its on the heavy cycle, a normal cycle takes over an hour, the fast cycle takes nearly an hour, the drying time does not dry… Read more

the dishes, dishes are always streaky when then come out. I reverted to washing my dishes by hand instead as l find its not worth the time or electricity.

has never done the job properly, does not clean dishes unless used on heavy cycle, very long cycles

Have read alot of bad reviews and disagree so thouht I should say so – I recently bought this dishwasher and wasn't sure initially if the wash cycle button was not working as it doesn't move during cycle (this is not a fault), as I wasn't sure how long it should take I looked for reviews and found mostly bad ones. I thought Oh No I am going to regret buying this. Well QUITE THE OPOSITE I am thrilled with it for the… Read more

cost. Yes you can, POSSIBLY, get a better one for four or five times the cost but it depends what you class as better.

This dishwasher does everything I want it to, basically washes the dishes. I have only had this dishwasher for a short time but the dishes come out spotless everytime and the drying is also fine. I have an older Fisher & Paykle dishwasher in my Bed and Breakfast and it washes and dries equally as well if not better. A lot of the complaints I read were over the top. Takes 2 hours, OK so what, how long do the others take, not a lot faster I don't think. Lower shelf coming off track, it doesn't actually come off track, more that if the rack is stacked unevenly and you have more wait on one side you may have to jiggle it, it is not a major. The complaints about drying are totally unwarranted. If you leave the cycle to finish, when the red light comes on and then open the door slightly for a couple of minutes dishes are ready to put away. In fact I have also unloaded immediately with perfect results.

The saying that you get what you pay for is not always true, I'm sure you too have heard horror stories about so called models and makes, I know I have. I hope this review will encourage people who are happy with there purchase to share it with others and not let the WINGERS put off prospective purchasers. Just about everything for the price Early days so can't comment on Warranty but it does have a 2 year Manufacturers Warranty

Cheap & Nasty – I have had this dishwasher for about a year so good time to review. More often than not we fill the sink in preparation for washing up when normal load is finished. Sometimes we wash a few things, sometimes we just wash everything. So the up side is you will get some hand washing experience with this machine. Hold dirty dishes til I hand wash them & it was cheap See above. Basically doesn't wash dishes!!
