Haier HWT10ANB1 (10kg)

Automatic water level doesn't fill high enough to clean. You need to manually set it to get the correct water level. Items get so tangled because the agitation on most settings is too aggressive, for want of a better word. Due to tangling, items get covered in lint that you need to remove Mix setting agitates prior to water fill to "level" the load. This is useless and often makes the load uneven. We're all quite capable of levelling the load! Most of the cycles are very long. It's not necessary if the washer functions efficiently. The only positives are that it's really quiet and easy to use. This is not much use given the wash quality is poor. This washer replaced our beloved Simpson that died after 20 years! RIP:) I shall forever lament the day the Good Guys salesperson talked us into this piece of junk. Just don't go there. For the record, I tried contacting Haier but you can only send a letter (who does that?), or call. I feel that it's more important to warn people, than have my feedback to a call centre person, go nowhere!

Disappointed – Bought 3 days ago. First wash I had mixed clothes and let the machine pick water level etc .. 55 minutes from start to finish. Pulled washing out and had to rewash as my clothes had dirt stains on all my clothes . I reset the machine and wash time was 90mins . Some of the garments looked clean but anything black still had dirt stains on them . Jeans and jumpers . I then washed a light weight dooner and had lint and crap stuck to it which is no surprise as the dooner itself never got agitated properly. I could do a better job hand washing it.For a feature packed washer it is pretty disappointing considering the machine is made by fisher and paykel.

Great size and great price – Great machine can fit so much in it easy to use and not very loud for the price I recommend I’ve only had this machine for a couple of months and I’m impressed so far

Washes beautifully and backed by an excellent warranty – Pleasantly surprised at how well this washing machine cleans my clothes, considering it's a modern, large capacity agitator-less top loader. Has plenty of cycles and wash options which I love; my most used are Mix, Express 30, Delicate, Towels and Sheets, with occasional use of the Wool, Hygiene and Tub Clean cycles. Extra rinse option works wonders, as does the Soiled+ option, which I've used plenty of times on baby and toddler's clothing.
The washing machine performed flawlessly for about 3 months until one day it started overflowing and throwing out "E4" errors. Fisher & Paykel (who handle Haier warranty claims in Australia) were extremely helpful in resolving the issue; they sent out a technician within the week, he was very polite and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes! Has been working without fault since.
Edit - March 2026: still working good, no more faults or breakdowns in that time
