Rapid wear – Have just changed these for a set of Pirelli at just 16k. Normally get a minimum of 30k from Michelin. Very happy with the Pirelli tyres. They have good rim protection for low profile tyres , as a bonus. Show details

Excellent balanced tyres – Purchased on mid-2017 at Tempe Tyres when this set of tyres on sales. Pros: Wonderful grip on both dry and wet! Stable traction when doing sharp cornering. Tough wearing condition - now I’ve done 70k kms and reach the changing level. Budget, due to its mileage to the price, $135x4(on sale) by 70k kms. Cons: Noice is a bit noticeable beyond… Read more

80kph. Hard riding experience because it’s tough wearing. But it is good when your tyre running flat, hard side wall supports as run-flat tyres! Cannot find this model easily any more-good things never last long.

Highly recommended!

Smooth ride – I dont ride often, but ever since i changed my tyres, i love going on drives. It feels smooth yet firm, even when i drive through bumpy roads. The car is much quieter. I got it as part of their $100 cash back deal, so it was also great value for money.  Show details

Great tyres for small cars – I am driving my second set of Hankook Ventus Evo Tyres now. The first set gave me around 45000kms and so far the second set has done 20k kms and still going strong. These are great handlers as far as I am concerned. Cornering, braking etc are awesome. It gives you the extra confidence to step on the throttle. The only downside i felt is the… Read more

comfort part. It's not the most comfortable tyres i have used. Past 20k kms, the tyres are a bit too hard. (i think all hankook tyres are like this). The ride is a bit bumpy. But being low profile, these are all acceptable and forgivable considering the solid grip it offers.

Reasonable Handling Tyre with Good Life – These tyres came with the car I purchased and, because they had nearly all their tread, I decided to use them until they wore believing that they'd be as good as any other tyre. I believe these tyres would be good in most day-to-day cars that are sporty without being sports cars per se. At lower speeds they handled well in the dry and provided… Read more

good grip in the corners. However, if you have a car, particularly one that is not an AWD (in my case, it's a rear wheel drive), I found that accelerating out of corners had my traction control light flashing, both in the dry and definitely in the wet.

The tyres seem to be a hard material compared to the Michelins, and look to be a good wearing tyre. However, when I replaced them with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, I found the difference to be chalk-and-cheese.

So, in summary, not a bad tyre in that at lower acceleration and handling they performed well, but not a performance tyre as they are advertised to be for more powerful cars. However, they are a reasonable priced tyre, and one that could be considered for those wanting a bit more grip than you vin ordinaire tyre.

Good – Replaced Yokohamas, which were completely worn. Size: 235/45R17. Low kilometreage. These tryes squeeled in turns, which is not something I've experienced in years, and is embarrasing. The retailer suggested upping the pressure. Still sqeeling, but now the tyre breaks contact and starts bouncing. In comparison, the Yokos just turned and… Read more

stuck like slicks.

The ride is smooth and comfortable, although a little too soft for my liking.

In contrast to their performance in the dry, these tyres are unbelievable in the wet! I simply have not found the limit of grip ... yet. But when testicular growth advances, it'll be interesting to see what happens when the car slides. In comparison, the Yokos slid like slicks (they were well past their use-by date)!

It's too early to reasonably comment on wear at this time.

Overall, I think these are good value tyres and excellent for the vast majority of drivers. For me, I'm happy, but I will try something else in the future. Maybe 8 rims with Hancooks for the wet and Yokos for the dry? I reckon I've got better things to spend my money on ... Price, performance in wet conditions. Performance in dry conditions.

Excellent – 205/55-R16 , on 5000km , till now the tire is very good ,much more than i expected as i replaced the Michelin Pilot Exalto because it only did 13 000km thanks to my aggressive driving and i just wasted money so i changed to a cheaper one and till now i can feel a very small difference between them , great value great tire, handles great, good on… Read more
