Bought this to do whole chickens, wonderful – Bought via Coles Best Buys, free freight, arrived when they said it would. Wanted a large unit as a few people said theirs was a bit small. Have now cooked chicken, chips, chops etc. Easy to setup, cook and clean with non stick surfaces. Still learning. Show details ·  1

Amazingly useful – Purchased a year ago based upon my daughters' positive chatter re air-fryers. Being ancient, I'd never heard of them... My wife & I agree it is one of the best gadgets we've ever purchased. Roast veggies super quick, wonderful for chicken Parma, sausages, chips, ideal for grandkids nugget snacks, etc. We don't even roast meat any more - buy it… Read more

cooked from Woollies, etc and slice to requirements on the night. Just the veggies are all we like to cook. Cuts the meal preparation time from 3 hours to about 40 minutes all up. The trick is to not obsess about the cleaning - ease back on the scrubbing and leave slightly seasoned between cookings. Soap, water & wipe out with paper towel works for us. Much easier than cleaning a regular oven. Also 8L is big enough for just about anything we've ever needed to cook. This thing hasn't missed a beat and we use it at least 3 or 4 times a week - doubt we could survive without an air fryer now. Can't believe their existence came as news to us. Never to old to learn something!

Absolutely perfect! – I cook a lot of fish and we have never had such perfectly cooked moist fish. Also cooked a meatloaf and zucchini fries . I would recommend it wholeheartedly. Easy to clean ( husbands job) and I keep it in the laundry for now . Great price too! Show details

Needs to be replaced after 12 months – The Teflon is starting to peel, I don’t clean this with anything abrasive never used metal utensils so I put this down to being extremely poor quality. I would recommend others buy something better quality. Show details

Only solid for 8 months – I loved the air fryer at first. With so many air fryers in the market, Healthy Choice seemed like a steal considering the low cost. I purchased the air fryer via Catch.com.au. At first the item was faulty, it didn't turn on after 8 months. Catch was kind enough to send a replacement that also suddenly went faulty after 8 months. Save your money and go with Philips. Healthy Choice is a poor choice Show details

Non stick wore off – Love our airfryer only issue is the nonstick rack and inside the bucket has now chipped and is the non stick is wearing away and I'm worried I will poison my family as it looks like it's rusting. Sadly I can't find my receipt so the store won't take it back and unable to find who the manufacturer of it is, the only option is to buy another airfryer but will buy a different brand and keep my receipt! Show details

Just what we hoped for – our first air fryer, wasn't sure what to expect but couldn't be happier. This gets plenty of use by the whole family daily, and does and execellent job crisping up food. execellent for anything chicken based and have tried cooking a cake with success. Basket size is only ok, but do sometime need to cook in batch for a family of 4. Easy to clean and no dramas with non-stick coating so far. Show details

Excellent. Big basket for big family – Still learning but I am very impressed with less time it takes to cook than my oven. Also less heat in the kitchen. My first air fryer cook was shoulder pork in the crockpot then 20 minutes in the air fryer. Next attempt was roast chicken and very happy with the outcome. Super easy to use and a no brainer to clean! Show details

Really great machine if you want to guess the temperature and time setting – You'd think there would be some quality control within the company (but its made in china so lesson learned I guess.) what a waste of everyones time. I received a clearly defective product from the moment I swithced it on. I purchased 2, 1 was a gift which seems to work fine but on mine the digital display is all jumbled and cannot determine what… Read more

the temperature or time is. Kogan has been useless and if you try to ask for an update they will reset your position in the queue this will be my next review. Yay what a great product, it switches on and cooks but I just dont know what the temperature is or how long it will be cooking for!!! You get 1 star for easy cleaning :-[

Really great till it died just short of 2 moths old – Food cooks very well and provides excellent results... As some others have said buy the biggest AF that you can manage because the smaller ones provide minimal cooking space. So on the plus side we have a nice big rectangular shaped basket providing more room to space food out as well as cooking more in one go rather than having to do multiple… Read more

batches which takes more time & uses more electricity; the basket is quite deep so you can use a trivet & add a second level of food if you wish; this AF has a 60 minute timer whereas most have only a 30 min timer & it also has a keep warm function, which most others don't; I definitely prefer the digital controls, as you can be more precise with your temperature and time settings. The appliance is well made & looks good.

On the negative side I have 2 minor issues ... firstly, there is no separate inner basket which can be handy at times & secondly, the power cord is not removable, so it can get in the way when storing the appliance, and one MAJOR ISSUE ...this AF died on me in just under 2 months (I noticed another reviewer mentioned that theirs died after only 3 months) I hope this is not due to some design flaw as I expect to get many, many years of service from this appliance.

I contacted the seller, Catch, & they immediately sent out a replacement, without any fuss or mucking around, which I received within 5 days, this was absolutely excellent service. I hope I have no problems with this one because I really do enjoy using this product.

Brilliant, Brilliant Brilliant and easy to use and clean - go larger if you can and you won't regret it! – We should have invested in an air fryer earlier. Purchased the Healthy Choice 8L AF900 air fryer from Harris Scarf on sale and it's as stated, brilliant. Initially, we were looking for a smaller air fryer because of space and cost, but Harris Scarf had the 8L Healthy Choice on sale cheaper the smaller capacity models. We are so glad to have a… Read more

slightly larger air fryer because we can layer everything without food sitting on top of food. We can easily place 4 pieces of supermarket-bought fish and enough chips around the base without food sitting on top of food and not cooking properly.

There are so many things that you can do with an air fryer that my partner went out an bought an air fryer cook book :-)

Really great till it stopped working!! – I'll be honest... I absolutely loved this airfryer until it just stopped working after only 3 months!! The company I got it from was nice though and refunded me the cost of the airfryer, they had no stock so was unable to replace it! So I have now been left without an airfryer and have gotten so used to having one. I am now waiting for it to go back on sale to buy another because I don't want to pay full price in case it happens again. Show details
