Heatstrip Indoor THS Series

THS2400R and Heatstrip customer service – This is a fantastic heater, unfortunately upon installing it we realised (over a few cold nights) that it didnt fill our area with enough heat. I contacted Heatstrips customer service where Brandon Le handled my issue. He suggested the THX2400DCR which he promptly shipped to us. We installed it and its great! Brandon was so helpful, he stayed in contact the whole time and kept us up to date on where the unit was and was always available should we have any questions. Although the THS2400R didn't fit our needs, Heatstrip made sure we got a suitable replacement fast. Highly recommend them!

Customer Service Excellence – We purchased a Thermofilm THS800A from a retailer only to find the unit was lacking its intended purpose for our room size, I contacted Thermofilm Aust P/L Dandenong South, The assistance I received from Brandon was flawless and second to none, he moved on the issue and dealt with what could have been an unpleasant scenario into a satisfying & pleasant experience, We are absolutely delighted with the unit we now have, it warms the area as intended and are thoroughly satisfied Customers, Thank you so much Brandon you are an asset to the company, Regards Laurie.

Flush Mount Enclosure sucks warm air from entire house – The name Flush Mount Enclosure implies that the heater is enclosed. It's not. Its open to the ceiling cavity and has a 1cm wide intentional gap all around the heat strip. I bought the smallest. Adding up the gap size you have a hole 20 x 20 cm. A hole that size in a ceiling is totally incompatible with a heat efficient house. Heater was installed Friday. Removed Saturday. Didn't try using it as the room was noticeably draughty and unpleasant as the hole pulled warm air from other parts of the house. I did a lot of research before choosing this model but nowhere in their information is gap open to the ceiling mentioned. How can a consumer make an informed choice if this information isn't provided? A hole in the ceiling will also allow heat into the house in summer as well as fibreglass dust, rat dust, spiders etc. If the unit actually was enclosed it might be quite good. The service was good and I'm sorry this product was so unsuitable. In now need a plasterer and a painter!
