Never missed a beat – Great gun, I am a home handyman so it doesn't get thrashed as it would in site but have put a few thousand nails through it now from 90's to 50's and always goes bang. It is also very light on the batteries which I find interesting as it must take a bit of energy to drive nails into wood. Great tool very happy.
Purchased in .

Hikoki Framer could be a winner but Hikoki support in Australia is unsatisfactory -UPDATED – Purchased the Hikoki framer/fixer kit in March. The framer served me well for roughly three weeks before the nose of the nailer broke off. The broken framer was dropped off at a service agent the very next day in hope of a quick turn around time as I use it (almost) daily for work. Fast forward to one day shy of four weeks, and it's still waiting on parts. Sadly the parts won't be available for another week. The option of stripping another gun for the part or replacing it completely has been refused by Hikoki.
Hikoki Australia has been disappointing to deal with. A serious lack of returned phone calls and hollow hopes of replacing the framer to expedite the warranty. If I wasn't diligent to call them multiple times a week I fear I'd still be waiting on that first return phone call.
Moral of the story is: a product is only as good as the service behind it. Hikoki sadly doesn't offer that service in Australia.
Should have bought a Paslode.
UPDATE - 7/2021
Hikoki ended up replacing the gun after 6-8 weeks of waiting. The replacement has been flawless. Another lad I work with has the same framer and he hasn’t had any issues either. I’m used to the weight of it and the power it has to drive nails is fantastic.
Absolute Thumper! – Was dubious about this framer at first, given all the ambivalent battery nail gun reviews. But this battery powered nail gun is impressive. It has not missed a beat. Pros - consistent driving power, consistent depth including hardwood!, no gas and no servicing, effective rafter hook, long battery life, no hose, no oil. Cons - only takes one nail clip, heavier than a paslode framer, fiddly buttons but they're ok.
This Hikoki framer is lighter than my old Senco SN4
Purchased Sydney tools early 2019
