ABC Iview has disappeared off my TV and I know that they are changing to an app. Will this TV support this new app as I have struggled to try and add it to mine. Freeview doesn’t seem to be working either and is this an option.?

Not sure if this helps, mine is a Hisense 32S4 so yours is a different model. I signed up for ABC iView and it made no difference to my tuning into iView. I still just select "Apps" from the menu boxes after clicking on the "home" button and then select iView from the several choices. Good luck.....Laurie

I couldn’t see Apple iView in the apps and when I did a search it didn’t appear but I will have another look. Thanks for your help.

Hi Ann, how did you go? I have a Hisense N series and I used to just go to the ABC on the TV and press the red button which would bring up iView. This has stopped working and for the life of me, I cannot work out how to add the app to the app area . A google search brings up a differnt way of doing every time and none of them work. Is it possible the TV is now considered too old?

My TV is brand new and I have managed to download the Iview app so thanks. Unfortunately every time I turn my TV on the internet link has been lost so I have to constantly reconnect it which is a pain.

Rae, unfortunately the way you use to access IView is no longer available as ABC deleted it from the browser and replaced it with the app. My mum has had the same issue as you and it seems her tv is too old now (or a cheaper model) that doesn’t have the app in her tv store. She can only watch iview shows by having the tv on abc and then pressing the yellow button to search for the individual show she wants to watch.

I bought a Hisense 39" smart TV 3 months ago and managed to set it up to use ABC iview, SBS on demand and STAN (to which I subscribed). Two weeks ago, I had difficulty accessing iview but finally managed to get in to view a saved program and a movie on STAN. One week ago I was unable to access any of the "smart" options, including YouTube, being face with the response ""Network configuration: Disconnected". All attempts to re-establish the internet connection result in the response "Network: wireless" and all of the original information such as IP address are missing. The only line showing information is the last line - "MAC address: 40.CD.7A.E7.DF.E5. My computer is not a MAC and I have no problems accessing all of the smart options originally available, even though the computer is a greater distance from the NBN wireless modem than the TV. Why has the internet connection lost the original setup information?

We are very happy with both our 39" and a 32" Hisense Series 4 TVs purchased in November 2017 except they don't appear to be as Smart as we expected as we can't connect to the internet! I read somewhere that these TVs have issues if you use Windows 10 on your computer. Well we do have Windows 10! Is that the problem? Any helpful advice will be much appreciated.

I have the 50" and mine connects fine with my broadband Internet via wifi, maybe talk to support at the store online or go and talk to the shop about it, before the warranty runs out
