The 65 inch TV dies only months after 3 year warranty – The picture and TV function were great to start off with. The random volume issues persisted. Had to restart and power off to be stable again. But in the first 2 to 3 years it was a decent TV. Then months after 3 year warranty period ended it would sometimes not turn on and sometimes freeze and not show an image. Now it completely won't show a… Read more
screen and turn on. It only powers up to the Hisense Logo then turn off again. Would not recommend. I have a old Toshiba that is well over 7 years old still going strong with much more use.
Spend more on something more stable – Terrible smart TV functions. Crashes. Out of sync. Remote control is lame. Remote now app is lame. Plenty of ports. Sound is quite decent for a tv but mostly use external speakers. Not a great set. Only plus is the price. The Smart TV component sucks, so factor in buying an NVIDIA shield or media computer. Inbuilt streaming services run out of… Read more
sync and crash all the time. Image feels choppy and weird, took ages to fine tune the settings to look half decent. Very much wouldn't buy this again, but works okay.
Apps Availability Dismal – No problem with after sales service. After a couple of months there was a major breakdown. Fixed within a week. However, apps availability is woeful...maybe Hisense should remedy that in a future software update. Still have intermittent problem of the TV turning itself off. Thank goodness it doesn't happen regularly. Show details
Teething Problem...But Otherwise Good – Had my 65R6 from the Good Guys about a month ago. Paid A$875. I have a problem with the EPG. When I select the EPG the channel list displays and I am able to select up and down as normal with the small box in the corner showing the programme being currently viewed. All good so far. However the programme description details does not display… Read more · 5
beneath its name, although the programme name does. So i sweep up and down the channel list and it will show the programme name but not the details of the programme. Otherwise a good picture, strong sound and good connecting to wifi for Netflix and Youtube. If someone can tell me how to fix this problem I might event recommend Hisense to someone else....because this problem aside its still a great buy.
Terrible TV and Appalling customer service – We purchased this TV on 27 April 2020, so had it for not even 2 weeks. After connecting the sound bar that we bought at the same time, noticed internet was not connected to TV so turned it off and then on again. Came back with lines all over the screen. JB HiFI first agreed to replace, then said they would leave it to Hisense. Hisense claimed no… Read more
under warranty as could have been anything from us breaking it to "an act of God'. honestly, that is what they told me. Disgusted that I have now no TV, am out nearly $1000 and have been made to feel like a liar. A disgrace that in a time when everyone is doing it tough and make a big call to spend the money, that we get treated with such contempt from both JB HiFI and Hisense.
Great tv for the price.... but – Great picture, plenty of inputs, easy navigation etc. Only thing i would change is the app store. Give us a major update and supply google play store. Even though the tv is otherwise perfect if I had known when i purchased it that it has its on app store i would have looked at something else. Show details

Good quality for price – For a TV and its quality of sound and picture.. its great.. but ita not the same as using an android tv with Phone compatabilty. Also has its own App store which has been a little frustrating and cant chrome cast a lot of apps and sites.. but great price love using 4k feature. Show details · 1

A good value for money purchase – I bought this TV 3 months ago and it runs every day for the best part of 8 hrs per day if not more. It is our first smart TV and the Bluetooth wireless connectivity were no problem to set up. The picture and sound quality is good, I did have an issue with the first unit at the top left hand side, it had an optical imperfection but Harvey Normans… Read more
swapped it over with a new one without any problems . I find the remote a bit crude in design, cheap looking and flimsy but works well, the labelling on the rear ports and rear connection could do with some white lettering rather then black, very hard to read without shinning a torch on them . Its operating system and apps have been easy to work with, I also run my phone over the cast feature without any problems and my PC looks great through the HDMI connection. I am very happy with this purchase and have recommended Hisense TVs to 2 friends that have purchased different models and they love there's as well.l
