DON'T buy Hisense TVs – Bought this TV on 30/12/21 at Harvey Norman Cannington, WA and comes with a standard factory 3 yr warranty. Within six months the TV freeze with just HISENSE on the screen. Called Hisense and some Technician came and fix it after two weeks or more, citing that parts had to be sent from Easter State. Same thing happened again within three months… Read more

of repair and again waited for two weeks and the Technician came and fixed it. Technician however was really good and helpful. Again on 12 February 2024 the TV freeze with HISENSE word appearing only. Called Hisense Service Department and this time, a different Technician called me and advise that it will take at least two or three weeks to fix it as the parts have to be requested and sent from Eastern States. Still waiting as of 03 March 2024. DON'T buy this brand and instead buy TCL which are in the same price range. BIG MISTAKE!!! I bought a 30 inch TCL five years ago and never had any issues and its still working perfectly.

Good tv – It’s good, picture is good, response good. Remote works well. Supposed to have Netflix and stan work with inbuilt chromecast. Netflix does, but not stan. Some hiccups. Have had to turn off and back on once or twice, but overall it’s pretty good. 100 times better than the TLC we brought. That went back after 2 months. All apps work. Have put in a… Read more

chromecast to receive other apps. Bluetooth good. Easy to set up and operate. Would like to add, stan is supposed to work with built in chromecast but doesnt. Had to add a chromecast not just for stan for other streaming apps. Disappointing.

Excellent Value & performance – The picture quality is awesome with nice rich colours & tones. The sound is great not tiny at all, the remote is easy to navigate and works from a good distance in my case 6m away. So if you are wanting a great value TV under $1000 AUD you can't go to wrong buying this TV. Show details

Great TV for the price and Hisense's Customer Service is Excellent too – I purchased the A7G 65" TV from JB Hi Fi on sale. This is my second Hisense TV and I have had a good experience with the brand. For the price I paid I was impressed with the picture and the sound, it goes pretty loud so no need for a sound bar at all. Unfortunately the A7G had a problem early on which was fixed very quickly under warranty. After… Read more

the TV was repaired, which was a 5 minute job, a rep from Hisense rang me to asked if the TV was fixed to my satisfaction, that is excellent service.

Great TV, especially considering the price – My first Hisense product, have to admit I was a bit scared of getting this TV, specially after comparing the price to the same size TVs from Sony or LG.... But after a few months I can say that it was a great decision... the image quality is great, sound is also high quality and can get super loud. Haven't had a single issue and definitely worth… Read more

the price. The only downside is the apps/smart functionality, Netflix and YouTube work great but there not a lot of other apps. Still...you can solve all your issues with a Chrome cast or Apple TV. Don't let the lack of 'smart' functionalities scare you out of this TV. I'm happy with a 65'' Hisense that is not as 'smart' as a 45'' Sony but it's still cheaper.

Good value for money – Vidda operating system is very responsive. Picture quality is good although the black levels are a bit disappointing compared to more expensive models which is to be expected. Overall satisfied. Show details ·  1

Smart tv that needs rabbits ears – TV is sold as a smart tv, however if you want to use 7plus, 9now or 10 play; there is no app, you need to have an aerial connected and it uses that to connect to Freeview plus 7 etc. We bought this tv to put in a room with no aerial connection available, told it would do plus 7..... What an archaic disappointment. Show details

Good TV, but the VIDAA OS is terrible – -- Pros -- The display quality is great, and the remote is fast with little noticeable lag. Three HDMI ports, all of which support 4k/60fps. -- Cons -- The VIDAA OS is an insulting abomination that actively makes this TV worse. Your homescreen will only be a confusing cornucopia of services that you don't pay for but can't replace; you can't… Read more

add custom artwork to your screensaver except if you tag content on DeviantArt (because apparently we're all still in our emo phase); the Netflix app will always be the first app in your list because you can't move it. Apparently Hisense is all *Netflix or die!*

The VIDAA OS has just barely more than jack-squat available for apps to add to your TV outside of Netflix, FoxTel, Stan, or Kaya. Once you exhaust those options, it quickly drops into "Wedding planner TV" and the NiHao Channel.

-- Conclusion -- It's mechanically a good TV. The resolution is great (4k!) and it's a well-made TV. But look for a Hisense TV with Android TV or Roku as it's OS, or else maybe get a Chromestick or an Apple TV. Those alternatives might be a little pricey, but it'll save you the pain and suffering of having to use the awful VIDAA system.
