right on expatriation of the manufacturer warranty the problems began immediately beginning with mechanical and then cosmetic/structural. Even now the fridge is only 4 coming up to 5 years young and not worth any money to sell, (a shame for yet another disposable land fill) not surprisingly due to the reasons I’ve had to purchase again already after investing over $1,000 from Harvey Norman for this one which has been well cared for and only lightly used for the duration I have owned it. The plastic door shelves brittled quickly, cracking and breaking even with light to no use. The seal is coming away, the fan intermittently noisy and ice forming in the freezer. Nothing like the qualification the many other appliances I have purchased over the years. Hopefully it’s just either mine or this model but none the less, money I would have expected to be spending already to replace it. Such a shame as it’s now back to shopping around for a replacement quality brand I can trust for future purchases.

wanting nothing to do with the problem and are giving me and the service Technicians a run around. loss of food and loss of sleep due to the noise the fridge should have been recalled.

Door handles terrible, one loose, one fell off – Fridge and freezer work however finishes are cheap and door handles especially bad. Have chased Hisense as item still under warranty and despite lodging online and placing calls to them, no response. Handles have not sustained damage from use as this is a second fridge and only used for drinks so minimal use. Show details

Great fridge for a family of 4 – I love the side by side doors. The freezer is very roomy and lots of storage on the doors. The drawers are strong and sturdy and fit heaps of frozen goods. that, i live the fact that i dont have to connect to a hose to have water. I can fill it up as i please. You can manipulate shelving however you like.

Cons: - No lock on water dispenser - can be dented easily

Pros: - spacious drawers, strong and sturdy - good lighting - roomy freezer - not bulky in size - handles are good - cooling system great - can fill water dispenser manually

replacement plastic drawers. Hisense have told me they are out of stock and I need to keep calling them to see if they have replacement parts in; in other words it is my job to do their customer service work! I complained further, and have been sent glass shelving when I need replacement plastic drawers.

I have never had a plastic fridge door in my 42 years of life crack from basic and light usage. I have basically paid > $1k for what will become landfill. It’s only a matter of months before my warranty is expired and I am left having to constantly buy replacement shelving every 3-6 months. I will never buy a Hisense product again! Buy this product at your peril.

Solid core parts but cheap quality fittings – Bought in December 2019. For the price this is a good value fridge. It’s core competencies are well taken cared of, backed by a 3 year warranty. a cheaper, good value fridge and can live with poorer quality accessories but one that does a solid job on the important bits this is one to go for-for the price I’d seriously consider it again, but if I can pay a bit more I’d get another fridge because this issue is an inconvenience.

Disappointing Fridge. Fan and shutdown issues. Fridge to be returned – 3 times the fridge has shut down in 6 months. The Fridge has been repaired twice in a short span of time. Don't waste your money!! – First one we bought had marks on the inside so they replaced it. We received the second one and the seal doesn't sell properly it has taken them over 2 weeks to get someone to look at it, the guy came steamed the seals and that was it. due to no suction on the seal. I have rung hisense almost twice daily and get nowhere been told it's escalated to the area manager who was supposed to contact me the same day but nope nothing. Apparently they won't refund until the problems fixed which has put my family of 7 out of a fridge I have repeatedly told them this they don't care!!! The fridge constantly changes temp which I think is due to the seal. The fridge door also needs to realigned with the freezer door as it sits higher. Pay the extra and go with a better known brand hisense don't care. The fridge also has a fair amount of condensation in it too. Not to mention the outside was also marked on the second one but that I was willing to over look I just want a fridge that works and does as it should. This was a big purchase for our family and now we are out of pocket and out of a fridge.

Great fridge but shelves constantly crack – I have had my fridge for 8 months now. It's great fits everything I need. Mechanical great. But I have had something break off the water dispenser and 3 shelves crack because of the cheap plastic. I have had one replaced only to happen again and needs to be replaced again. 2 other shelves have now cracked and will be needing replacements. What do I do after warranty runs out. in the front door as well. The fridge does not require too much effort to open and the door can close properly itself as well. Overall it's a pretty good fridge.

Updated review, from 3 stars down to 1 – When you open either of the doors, it shows the fridge and freezer temperature settings, rather than what the temperatures actually are, which one may think would be more useful. You cannot adjust the spacing between the shelves either on the doors or in the fridge, there are no slots or positions to allow this. The highest spacing within the fridge is the top shelf, you can't stand a 330ml beer/cider bottle on any of the other shelves. The shelves on the freezer door are narrow, not even wide enough for the width of a 3 litre plastic milk container. The image of the fridge on their website doesn't show any milk in the fridge at all, lots of bottled water though, why would they show only bottled water when one of the selling points (key features) is supposedly the water dispenser. The water dispenser is difficult to fill with anything bigger than a one litre jug due to the shelf above it, which means opening the door several times to fill it. Perhaps you could use a hose or I suppose you could remove the shelf every time you needed to fill the reservoir. To me, it is more of a gimmick, anybody wanting so much cold water may be better off investing in a water cooler.

Another of the key features (selling points) is the twist ice-maker as shown on the website, this was not actually supplied with the fridge - as the manual states, it is an option extra - so you pay extra for a key feature. At least the other three key features do actually come with or are part of the fridge. I questioned this with Hisense but they never replied to me, which in itself is indicative of their level of customer care.

I had a need to speak to their support section, I couldn't understand the consultant very well, she must have been using a faulty headset (do Hisense make headsets?) as she kept cutting out, she was less than helpful with the problem we have with our fridge.

Would not recommend this brand.
