Wish I read these reviews before I purchased. Although so far (only had it 2 months) I have not had any mechanical issues - it doesn’t wash the dishes ! I thought I was over packing it. however even with minimal dishes it still does not wash. Also agree with bad design ie not fitting plates etc. complete waste of money Show details
Absolute garbage- Pump has failed in 6 months, never washed the dishes properly, Hisense customer service is absolute garbage. Show details
Brand new unit in our rental. As others mention the bottom drawer doesn't fit full size plates if the cup drawer is in the low position, but when the cup draw is raised you can fit a normal size tumbler glass upright. Cutlery drawer is a nonsense and doesn't work as well as a basket. Overall a poorly designed and noisy machine.
Invest your money wisely – I bought this product in June 2024. Machinery is all good, up and running so far. However, the design of the product is a let down. The pictures on the company and Good guys website are misleading as they highlight a huge capacity of this product by showing too many plates in the bottom shelf. Unfortunately, you can not fit more than 4 full plates… Read more
in the bottom shelf, and that too mostly slanting otherwise they obstruct water fans up there. There is no way to adjust the upper rack. Have contacted the company for this and no positive customer service was offered. The representative of Hisense, made me feel that its your problem now. Returning or exchanging is also not an option as it costs the buyer, even if the product is doing false marketing. Wanted to write this review for months, but all my time was used doing dishes even after buying a Dishwasher.
Faulty dishwasher and still no resolution 7 weeks later – Dishwasher appeared with an error code after only having the unit for 9-10 months, contacted Hisense to repair and repair agent gave the run around for 4 weeks, came to fix and dishwasher was still broken. Hisense assigned a new repair agent who called in sick for the first appointment and rescheduled, they then advised they were no longer trading… Read more
and couldn’t repair the unit. No response from Hisense since to rectify despite me reaching out to them and I have been out of a functioning dishwasher for over 7 weeks. Overall, Hisense ability to offer support and a resolution has been terrible and the repair agents they contract out are clearly very unreliable and incompetent.
Don't waste your money – Walked in store to buy a certain dishwasher that I researched, which had good reviews. Got told "We don't have that in stock" and got talked into buying this piece of crap instead. Just returned it to the shop today and swapped for a different model. We only had this dishwasher for 2 weeks, and for that whole 2 weeks all I got was whinging from my… Read more
my wife about how bad it was.
Pros: Quiet and I suppose you could say it's cheap.
Cons: Cutlery doesn't get cleaned properly. Most of the time it didn't clean the dishes. Dishes aren't dry at all. The touch panel is so sensitive we kept accidentally changing settings/turning it on etc every time we brushed past it. Had to raise the top drawer so our dinner plates would fit in the bottom, but that meant we could hardly fit anything in the top, because of the stupid cutlery drawer. There are way too many settings and was complicated every time we tried to run it. Seriously...It's a dishwasher..why does it have to have 2 x pots and pans settings and a separate setting if you use all in one tablets? Manufacturer should have spent more time on making it work properly rather than having every bell and whistle they could fit in it.
Worst Dishwasher ever ! – I purchased the Hisense HSCE14FS in June 2023 it’s now September 2023 & I’ve used it 4 times Because it doesn’t wash the dishes! I’ve tried different cycles, I’ve googled it & tried other ways people have suggested & it is disgusting! Majority of the dishes are still dirty but ALL OF THE DISHES ARE STILL WET!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DISHWASHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show details
Don't waste your money – Purchased this free standing dishwasher from the big box store name and had no issues with the shop. On first day of installation and running the dishes came out wet after a cycle and that's even leaving gap after the drying cycle. After 3 months of running the machine I noticed the dishes getting wetter each time until one day it came out… Read more
soaking wet like someone just had a shower in there and stepped out and the inner door panels was cold to the touch. Logged a repair with the big box store and a tech came out repaired the logic board but that was not the issue. Turns out it was a faulty temperature sensor hence it did not display any error codes. A week passed and the repair tech ordered the part and came out and replaced it. Ran another cycle but noticed my dishes was damp not dry bone as one would think a dishwasher would do and that's even with rinse aid added and the extra drying time was selected on the dishwasher as well. Racks an baskets still have water droplets on them and the lower rack for pots and pans constantly skips its track when you push it back in due to its small wheels. The middle rack cannot take anything larger than a small coffee cup or it would clash with the cutlery basket on the very top and that's with the basket being lowered. On the lower basket the mesh grid is so wide many oval shaped plates falls through the gaps and obstructs the lower spray bar which I have to constantly adjust the plates. Why is there so many issues. If I had a choice of buying another one I would stay well clear of this and go for something better. Trying to lodge a refund but big box store is pushing its right to repair on the technician and if they can't fix it they would have to wear the cost of replacement but puts me in between a hard rock and a tough situation as the product isn't doing what its supposed to be doing.
