Don’t make same mistake as me. Very disappointed with Hisense washing machine I’ve had my Hisense washing machine for only 7 months and it’s already having problems. The fabric softener is not dispensing at all, no matter which cycle I use. My clothes come out stiff and smelling bad, as if no softener was added. I contacted Hisense support and… Read more

went through endless troubleshooting steps — clean this, try that, run a rinse cycle — only to be told they’ve “never heard of this issue before.” It’s clearly a known fault because many others online are reporting the exact same problem. Now they want to charge me to send a technician out, even though the machine is still under warranty. That’s completely unacceptable. A washing machine should last more than a few months without issues, and customer support should stand behind their product instead of making the customer jump through hoops. Very disappointed with both the product and the service. I would not recommend Hisense washing machines to anyone.

Would rather give no stars. Bought 12 kg model to save time, water, and electricity. Instead, it wastes them all. The shiny surfaces scratch easily and hold finger marks. One load takes 2-5+ hours, is very tangled, and is often not cleaned. The many programs seemed useful, but most are just repeated with different names. Takes several tries for… Read more

the "touch buttons" to respond, then wait for pointless music to stop before the unit will activate. Operation is noisy - can be heard several rooms away. A 'delicate' wash is too light for a 12kg machine and takes far too long. The machine will not operate at all without fabric softener; another money waster, which creates mould inside the machine and allergies; no option to add only if needed. The machine doesn't wash or spin well, leaving everything still with marks and very wet. You need a lot of stain remover. This machine is technology gone mad. Many useless "features", terrible performance, and not economical in any way. It's certainly not environmentally friendly. See review for matching dryer. Very much regretting this expensive, frustrating, time- and money-wasting purchase.

Not a good experience with my first front loader. Harvey Norman delivery men did not install (as they were supposed to) and instead just dumped it in our hallway and left. We were left to try to install, did not help that we were following the quick start instructions which were entirely different to those in the manual. Did not realise that… Read more

front loaders have to have the door left open after use so that seal doesn't go mouldy. Ours was mouldy quite quickly. After less than 6 months of use it flooded our house 3 times. Hisense have limited options for warranty service people and the one we had to use strictly only service our area once a week. I had to wait a week for them to attend and then another 3 weeks for parts to arrive (only coming from Melbourne so not sure why so long). New parts were installed and on first use that night it flooded our house again. Rang service people next morning and they refused to attend until their scheduled day for our area which was yet another week. The Hisense service section is a very frustrating department. Have to wait on hold for ages and then they just read from a script and don't know what to say if you ask a question. They couldn't care less really and I did have a very rude customer service guy ring me after the parts were ordered. We had harsh words with each other on the phone and to be frank, he should not be in that role. As a family of 5 and also an Airbnb, we have lots of washing. I was without a machine for 5-6 weeks and spent a small fortune frequenting laundromats. We do not have a laundromat in our suburb and I had to travel to the next suburb or carry baskets of washing in my car to drop at laundromats close to wherever I was running errands. It has been an absolute nightmare and as long as I live I will never purchase another Hisense product. We were eventually offered a refund and the machine was gladly returned to Harvey Norman. New one of a different brand arrived yesterday and drum is much larger than this one, even though it is 2kg smaller.

Very disappointed spent $1400 on a new washing machine was told by the sales rep at Harvey Norman was a very good machine, after 2 weeks the drainage hose split then was followed by the F03 notification, I fully understand that these things do happen but I am very disappointed with Hisense customer service. After a week of filing the issue no call… Read more

very bad – I bought one machine two years back and it broke after two years. Harvey Norman the salespeople told it carries three warranties and any failure will give replacement during the period. But now they are telling me they are going to repair that will take two months. This is a very bad quality product. My ticket No:NZ-054-12339

Great machine, but know this before buying… – Look, the machine itself works fine, but there is a massively annoying software feature which severely limits the functionality of the machine and the ConnectLife app. The ConnectLife app can be used to connect to the machine once you have enabled remote access on the machine itself. The problem is every time the machine is switched off,… Read more

inexplicably the remote access option switches back to off. So every single time you turn the machine on, you have to turn remote access back on to be able to use the app.

Now some people probably don’t care about this as they’d always opt to just use the machine controls instead of using the app, but if Hisense are going to market the machine being controllable via smart app, surely such a simple software feature should be addressed.

Hisense, if you’re reading this, please provide a simple software update to enable remote access to remain on! My rating will 100% change once this is done :)
