Press the "Home" button on your remote. Navigate to "Settings" (usually indicated by a gear icon). Select "Device Preferences" or "General". Find and select "Reset" or "Factory Reset". Confirm that you want to reset the TV to factory defaults. Using the physical reset button: Locate the reset button on the back of the TV, which may be recessed and require a tool like a pen or paperclip. Press and hold the reset button for about 15-20 seconds. The TV will restart and return to factory settings. Cold boot method (if remote is not working): Unplug the TV from the power source. Press and hold the power button on the TV itself for about 30 seconds to drain any residual power. Wait for a few minutes before plugging the TV back in.

You can use the spdf[ optical digita]but you need to purchase this from any electronics store.Down load the quick star for this tv.

Aso you can use audio out via the head phone outlet a .5 to rca lead,plus it has ARC hdmi connection if your sound system has hdmi.

Hi Rod, unfortunately 3rd party devices is not available on this TV . if you wish to stream it you can use a 3rd party device like a chrome cast , however I strongly suggest confirming with the retailer to ensure it is compatible.

The tv I had was so faulty we returned it and bought a Samsung in its place.

Hi I'm sorry I can't give you a quick fix. Other than the TV sensor is faulty. I don't think it would be coming from other equipment. As you have your remote. When you click it comes on immediately goes of. There is quite a lot of electronics in these TV's. If you still have warranty which is good for 3 years plus free call for 3 years to help with any complications. Thanks for question sorry I couldn't be much help. Rod

I had this problem in an older tv, I got it fixed and it was a faulty power supply. I can only suggest you call the place you bought it or the manufacturer.

Hisense has a very good help centre - it stays open until about 7.00pm weekdays. also available Saturday but not as late..I had amazing help recently when my TV reset itself to nothing...give them a call

Yes. Depends on where you intend to stream from. Comes with Netflix and YouTube direct entry buttons on the remote. There are other apps available and other special interest channels such as red bull, Bollywood, news, kids and documentaries etc.

You will need an external hard drive eg: Seagate or similar with a large amount of storage, then follow page 8 of the user manual. You can download this from the Hisense download website. Maybe you could use a USB but I do not know if that works

Yes, the TV has a rather robust WiFi module built in and has no problems connecting to a standard access point or all-in-one router. The initial configuration wizard will offer you the option to connect to a WiFi network if it sees one available when you first switch it on; otherwise you can go into the settings menu if you want to connect at a later stage. Typing your PSK in will be a bit fiddly with the on-screen keyboard, but you'll only need to do this once.

I don't have a Stan account, but I can confirm that the Stan app is not pre-installed, and neither is Presto, but it does have Netflix which I use frequently. I used the TV's web browser to go to the Stan website and from there clicked on the Google Play logo which took me to the Stan application download page in Google Play. I clicked on the install button and a Stan login box popped up, requiring me to login to Stan in order to proceed with the app installation. I was forced to stop there as I don't have a Stan account. I was hoping to be able to test that the Stan app will install, open and prompt for login to prove that it runs on this TV :-(

Another option for Android phone users is the TV's Anyview Cast feature which allows you to mirror media playing on Android phones. I have successfully tested this with Plus 7 and Netflix apps on my phone so if you have Stan on an Android phone you should be able to mirror it on the TV. Have spent several hours trying to get it to load but to no avail.Trying to manouver around with the remote on nett is slow and has drag from when u press button till it types on screen, found it very hard to navigate around should have paid bit more and stuck to Samsung as they are better TV.
