My TV will not turn on.

+ There is no red light to indicate power to the TV. + I have checked the power outlet and it is working. + I have replaced the remote batteries. + Also tried turning it on with the switch on the TV itself rather than using the remote.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as have hardly used the TV over the few years I have owned it.

Is there a specific mouse toggle that will work on Hisense TVs? Mouse Toggle 1.52 for Android doesn’t work. Unless I missed it, there is no setting to “Turn on Mouse Toggle” in the Hisense Settings.

Do you mean wherher you can access apps like Google Play?. The answer is 'No'. It uses another system that you can access about 40 apps or so.

Hi,

Is there a way I can select or type in the search bar of a YouTube or browser in the keyboard by just pointing at the letters or only manually navigate to each letter and select them which I am doing right now and feel it very cumbersome.

Thanks in advance .

Hello, yes, there is. The remote works like a mice as well when you point at the screen, but I must say that its not as easy as it may seems. I my self struggle sometimes to get the right letters. Cheers

Thanks... But I don’t see any pointers on the screen .... can you please guide me how to get the pointer or if there is any setting that I need to activate for this?

Thanks again

No, the series 3 doesn't have an "air mouse" remote control - so you need to use the cursor control keys on the remote to navigate the keyboard - definitely a PitA.

Does this tv have a sleep function?

Aquaholic
Aquaholic

Hi Phil,

Yes this particular TV does have a sleep function. Go into settings>time then go to sleep timer,

From there you have from 10 mins to 120 mins. Hope this helps.

Cheers Andre

Aquaholic's instructions tell the whole story. Yes, there's a sleep function, but compared to 99% of non-"smart" TVs, it's a damned PitA to use. This isn't peculiar to this brand or model though - almost all "smart" TVs that I've seen bury the sleep function deep in the menus.

I can't for the life of me understand why they couldn't simply implement a single-button solution on the remote like most other TVs have. It's impossible to tell how many minutes you have left, and if you want to adjust the time you have to be awake enough to fiddle through the menus.

Why does the Anyview Cast feature not work?

I tried it with my phone which is running 6.0.1, and my brother's which is running 6.0.1 too and both of them fail to connect. However, it did work with a different phone running 5.1. Is there anyway to fix that?

Also why couldn't I find my TV's model in the Hisense's official page, their products list, and the firmware updates list? It sounds weird that it's not listed. Is there a way to upgrade my firmware? Is there a way to fix the anyview cast's problem? Does Hisense have a live chat support or something? Cause I tried contacting them on their "contact us" page and they never emailed me back. Hope someone could help..

Which 'phone? Running "6.0.1" and "5.1" of what precisely? Android? iOS? Windows Phone? Symbian? Blackberry? PalmOS? BADA? Tencent? Support for your specific model is available on HiSense's web site here: external link

If HiSense haven't responded to your online query yet, bear in mind that most businesses are still closed until next week. If you're absolutely desperate for spiritual guidance, either consult the retailer from whom you purchased your TV, or wait until next week and telephone HiSense on 1800-447-367.

is the hisense 40k3110pw a 4k television? thanks rod

Sceptical
Sceptical

Rod there is no mention of this being a 4K TV, I would suggest that if this was the case it would be highlighted quite prominently. However, this is only in reference to my TV which is model number 50K3110PW which I am very happy with.

Cognicom

The PW series is FHD (1920x1080 native resolution). If you're after a UHD ("4K") TV, look at the UW series (for example, 50K3300UW).
