Not sure which Hisense TV I bought but it’s about 2 years old and it has begun to regularly turn itself off. Won’t be buying this brand again. Shame bc otherwise it’s a decent tv. Show details

I can see there are so many negative reviews, but for me, the TV was 10/10, no issues. Have been using it for almost a year, picture quality is sound quality is good. And got this from good guys on a good deal as well. Show details

ABSOLUTELY POOR QUALITY - BE WARNED! Our HiSense TV Broke in under two years and HiSense won't cover it under their warranty. One morning our TV just appeared with lines on the screen. It was mounted safely inside our home lounge room, we have air-con on all year and nothing happened to the TV. When I contacted HiSense to complain that our TV has… Read more

unexpectedly stopped working (through no fault of our own) HiSense accused that 'physical damage' had taken place.

We live rural and were first advised that a technician would attend our home to assess the TV. Then HiSense decided to e-Mail and advise that it's not covered under warranty and that if we want a technician that it could be at our expense! What a joke.

Disgraced by their customer service. Think twice before buying a HiSense TV! Our TV is poor quality breaking - AND HiSense won't honor our warranty.

Hisense took "frameless" too far! This TV isn't sealed around the edges of the frame, so small insects can crawl in and get stuck behind the screen! At first I thought there were marks on the TV, and I tried to wash them off. Upon closer inspection, I realized that tiny insects had made their way through the unsealed edges of the frame and become… Read more

trapped. Even worse than the obstructed viewing experience, was that I got attached to those bugs while I was waiting for Hisense to reply to my complaint. I named my favorite one Bugtholomew. I still think about that little guy from time to time..... PS Hisense never got back to me.

Build quality is terrible my girlfriend touched the screen and now the whole thing is cooked. Definitely not worth 700 bucks. Show details

Picture quality is great and there's no lag when opening/closing apps. However the sound quality isn't great and the TV does not integrate well with google home. The sound quality isn't an issue for me as I have a sound bar however. Show details

Bad quality and a horrible operating system for Android users – Appalling VIDAA system which is both unreliable and doesn't integrate properly with Google Home. It looks like it's designed for Apple's Airplay system. Streaming from Android devices is so impractical it's useless. The sound on my TV failed within about a month (on the TV found only -- sound still works with apps). This was my first and last… Read more

Hisense purchase. Lesson learnt. This TV was just a dud, and particularly the VIDAA operating system was a dud. Pure and simple.

Rubbish TVs don't last – I am a fool. I've had 3 Hisense TVs and every one of them has broken down and not worth fixing not too long after warranty. NEVER again will I buy a Hisense TV. They just don't last the distance and NO they're not that cheap either. Show details

TV is OK, VIDAA OS is useless UPDATE Jan 2026 – The TV itself is OK, the problem is the VIDAA OS. Can not load any apps other than the limited number provided by Hisense. Not at all intuitive, it is cumbersome and designed to promote certain channels and services. I would not ever buy a Hisense or any TV with this VIDAA OS, it is useless. Update December 2025 Downloaded the latest OS Uprate… Read more

only to find that all it did was allow them to place unwanted advertisements on the home screen. Do not update, it does nothing for the user and only benefits the advertisers.
