Very poor customer service – Unfortunately when removing the protective packaging/ film from the TV, the below layer also came up, which turned out to be part of the TV screen. My 2nd Hisense TV and while the picture quality is fantastic otherwise (like my previous series 7), the section that lifted is ruined and the generic dismissal from their customer service department was frustrating to the point where I will pay more next time to avoid risking a combination of poorly build product and horrible customer service.

Purchased in at The Good Guys for $815.

Great Picture, Amazing Sound, Fast and Responsive Apps – The picture quality in both the terms of colours and sharpness are simply great. The sound quality is clear and loud with good sound modes with do the job pretty well. The Surround Sound on a 5.1 audio is very immersive and completely feels like watching in theater. This is without an additional sound system. It has a proprietary Operating System which is not expandable. But with NetFlix, Amazon Prime, Stan and several other apps preinstalled with freeview+ inbuilt you hardly need anything more.

Terrible support and buggy TV – Started to bug out after 2 years ie.freeze and glitch. often TV would require power point power cycle to get out of frozen state. Support was just to reset, new firmware... avoided any real action. expired, but I strongly feel that it is extremely unfair and an unreasonable time to have any product fault just outside of their guaranteed period. To purchase a Hisense tv, you should calculate the cost, divide it by their 3 year guarantee and then decide if it's the right choice for you as you may not have it for much longer than that

I rang the Hisense customer support helpline and waited on hold... and waited...

Screen start flickering within 3 months – Bought this tv around 3 months ago and screen just start flickering. Tried hard reboot so many times but with no luck. Called JB Hifi and realised, there's no replacement warranty on this product. Really disappointed and such a waste of money. I don't recommend products from Hisense.  Show details

This company gives Fantastic service – Purchased the TV new to wall mount it, had it two and a bit years and all of a sudden NO picture, rang Hisense office and it was covered by their warranty of three years, service guy came out the same day that I rang and OK for a new replacement TV and this is all happened in three days and a later model a 75A7HAU fitted up in my lounge by them at NO cost at all, thanks Hisense and the Good Guys at Aspley Qld for Great Service. Show details

Best budget 75" 4k – I plug a 4k apple TV and use it mainly for that. Have had zero issues. Satisfied with its performance given my budget. Audio is good, surprisingly. It does require 2 people to set up, given the size. Bought it Christmas of 2020 and still running. Show details

Very Impressed – We this TV now for 3 weeks and very happy with the purchase. And have a 43" S5 as well but it is slower...Youtube. So the 8S is far quicker for a few $ more.....and the 3 year warranty....See how that goes, if we have any problems. So far so good Hisense. Our 2 Samsung smart, are also working well, 65 "and a 55" but earlier Models so they are slower. Show details

Had lot of issues poor support – Has so many issues with this tv, running latest updates and has already had parts replaced by Hisense and still having similar issues. Randomly freezes and shuts off, remote becomes unresponsive also. Over 2 years old and honestly can't wait to get it replaced once I've had enough. this should not be an issue in 2022 to get a refund also spoke to a Kayla (senior relations ) and hung up on me as I was trying to get a solution. Not only unprofessional I no longer have a useable television as that’s my only television now we have to watch everything extremely bright around edges. I also got told from customer service that it is a normal Occurrence with led tvs (absolute lie). Gone to consumer affairs Victoria as they keep sending me excuses and refuse to help.

Thought it was good – I thought I bought a decent TV for my bedroom. Had all the things I needed for a smart TV but after only 5 months the Main Board went and now it won't turn on. I rang Hisense and they were very helpful. They organised a repairman to come out and assess it. Unfortunately this is taking time and I hate being without a TV in the bedroom. happens I do a factory rest and that last for a few weeks until it comes back so they could send a tech out after I do a rest just to watch tv and I would get charged because they wont or cant find a fault. Wont buy hisense again warranty not worth the paper its written on.

Can it really be so difficult – Works well until it goes totally black. Replacement under guarantee, Has taken 4 weeks so far. I get the feeling they say anything to get you off the phone.CRAP . These tvs are not cheap when this size. I expected much better service

Good, but had better – This is my 3rd Hisense, clearly the best in it's class, however, I have a keen eye and don't believe picture is notably better than my last one. Some 4k content looks the same as 2k content. Lip-sync timing is always out when watching content on Prime Video especially if you stop the program then restart. It can take a bit of time to correct it in the settings. I'm just being critical, it's still the best 4k TV in its class by miles. Show details
