the hose to find that the head was hard to turn as if something was binding it up. I have not been able to use the sprinkler since so $136 for one watering. All my hoses, connectors, nozzles and small sprinklers are Holman so this has been quite disappointing. Worst part is I cannot find my receipt so stuck with a lemon.

One will keep ye'all updated as the machine gets more use, and yes, one will put it through it's paces.
Also, if I find out the gears are made of PLASTIC when Holeman make a big song and dance about it being all METAL, hence "Holman Solid Metal Travelling Sprinkler" one will let ye'all know too. Especially when the GEARS are the most important part that drives the "travelling" motion. If it happens to me, and one says IF, it will present a massive legal problem for Holeman.
Until then, I'm as happy as a piggy in mud! All is working fine :)

Great when working – Ive had 2 in 2 years. They work great when they work, but it seems the internal gears wear and it just stops. I will be looking for one that will last longer.
Holman metal tractor watering system – This product is very strong,it appears to be well made a does what it says it should do but is very slow and if you are on tank water it is not economical, sprinklers turned on for 15 mins. and moved when necessary. Does as good a job and uses much less water. I borrowed it from a friend before buying which I did not.

Inferior Parts – This product was excellent in all respects compared to others on the market. It had good weight and a low centre of gravity which significantly reduced bogging and rollovers. still better than others on the market however I am disappointed that the internal engineering wasn’t as robust as the exterior.
Not a durable sprinkler only lasted 2 months. Plastic gears started slipping – Worked great for 2 months then the plastic gears started slipping and stop moving forward. Took it back to bunnings for warranty then the second one did the same. You can buy the plastic gear box separately for $50 which I guess they know its an issue. I will be looking for a more durable sprinkler with metal gears. Show details
Its fantastic, works great with 18mm hose – We use bore water with 18mm hoses. After seeing reviews of the Pope plastic sprinkler (thanks to Product Review au reviewers) I purchased this after seeing two Youtube demos/reviews. Its terrific, makes me smile seeing it slowly working itself around under my fruit trees, on the Low cycle it takes all day to travel the 60 metres of hose… Read more
Holman recommend, I use an alarm on my iphone to go out and reboot it for the next day. Works well if the lawn is long, and its also on a gentle slope. Couldnt ask for anything better, love it.
