Unreliable and no confidence using in it – Brought brand new and very unreliable. Stops intermittently without reason and takes 20 pulls to restart. Sometime starts 2nd pull but sometimes upto 20. My son had to be rescued by a nearby tender otherwise would have been gone with the wind. Definitely isnt easy starting as the packaging says.

Can recommend fully – Had a 2hp 2stroke before and the hassle of mixing oil and petrol made me look at 4-stroke engines again. The honda 2.3hp is ideal and definitely more powerfull than my previous engine. It is aircooled so no hassle with pumps or flushing it after salt water use. And so easy now to buy petrol for and saving quite a bit on that very expensive 2-stroke oil!!!!
