Shudder in Transmission – Transmission is causing car to shudder. HSV and all over the internet know this is a common fault but have been told to pay $500 to change transmission fluid and if that doesn't work replace or rebuild at my costs. Show details
Wanted one, got one, never sell it. Love it – We use this car everyday, any reason to sit in it is a good reason. Love the feel, the sound, the comfort and the comments. Even children with there parents point to it. It gets serviced every 12klm and nothing has been found to be wrong with it. So happy we found our newest member of the family. Show details
stay away from the 8speed auto camaro !! – decided to purchase a demo 2018 auto 2ss camaro, 2900km on the clock. the styling and stance of the camaro is unbeatable and after i decided to fit a borla s type axle back exhaust the car sounded amazing. after maybe 500km i started noticing shuddering and hard shift changes and also felt the diff was jumping and locking when coming out of my… Read more
driveway in the morning. added to this the aircon was blowing hot air out of drivers side vents. took the car to the dealer with the problems noted. was told the oil in the diff and tranny needed to be replaced as these were known issues with these cars??, long story short 1. diff oil replaced - was good for a little while, now still jumping/locking when tight turns 2. 11 weeks and still waiting for 20litres of new oil to be replaced. shuddering getting worse 3. aircon was back a few times to get fixed they have a new actuator door to be installed
4. front discs needed to be machined also with 7,000km on it
5. rear hood lining was sagging due to failed oem clamp, was “fixed” on service sheet but still sagging
6. traded car in with 10,009km on it, never buy a 8 speed camaro:... worst 80k spent on a car,
Loving sexy and sport car – One of the dream car. I went for drive test and fail in love with this beautiful sexy elegant sort car. The price is a bit over valued but worth second hand maybe Show details
Best car I ever had in my life and very smooth to drive – I have the bumblebee version 2018 2ss and it is absolutely amazing to drive and so user friendly. I think people who give it bad reviews just honestly have some sort of stigma or jealously over it. It’s a camaro for heavens sake it’s a legendary car. Even if you was to put a million dollar car next to it, it would still turn heads due to its sleek… Read more · 1
and smooth muscle look but also due to the grunt and sound of the engine and the transformer series I mean come on. I use the car as a daily driver and never had any issues. It is pricey and pricey to maintain but it’s totally worth it. It’s fast, handles perfectly, the interior and exterior is beautiful and it corners like hell. Prices are increasing for camaros in Australia. Hate it or not it’s the truth. Production of the yellow ones stopped in 2018 and completely will stop in 2023.
Do not waste your money i brought one brand new and its full of rust look at my video – Do not waste your money i brought one brand new and its full of rust look at my video after speaking to Hsv Australia and Suttons Chullora HSV i was told to sell it if i don not like it as they all came with rust Show details
Owner – Just purchased & drove home to Tasmania from Sydney. Settling into the groove of the car after the first 300 km , I was more impressed no rattles or strange noises considering the car was fully dismantled & put back together better then it left the factory Very smooth ride & the fuel consumption was impressive averaging in the 7’s per 100 in… Read more
touring mode doing mostly the speed limit. I drove 900 km before I put 65 litres in 70 kilometres before Melboure. Would have just made it to port Melboure on a full tank.
This car just grows on you the more you drive it.
Also gotta love the airconditioning in the seats
Large door mirrors are great & blind spots are not a problem.
