Hi Bazza, Thanks for contacting us, since this is a glass door fridge it is recommended to have the fridge out of any direct sunlight, if the room that it is now has high humidity I would move it somewhere else.

Hi Alan, Thanks for contacting us. if you are referring to the HUS-CNSIL this model cannot be put outside as it won't work as supposed. If you are looking for an outdoor fridge look at any husky fridge that starts will ALF as these can be put in an alfresco area outside.

Hi Michael, Thanks for contacting us, we are sorry to hear that your Husky fridge stopped working. Based on your description, it seems like there could be a few different factors contributing to the issue. The condensation on the glass could indicate that the fridge is installed in an environment where its quite humid, which could cause the compressor to work harder and potentially lead to it failing prematurely. Additionally, keeping the fridge in a garage where temperatures can fluctuate could also put extra strain on the compressor.

For environments like this we suggest a bar fridge either with a solid door or a heated glass door which will prevent this condensation build up.

My best suggestion would be to place the fridge in an area inside with sufficient ventilation and that doesn't fluctuate in temperature or humidity.

Hi mate, I had exactly the same problem on a 2 year old husky. Nobody wanted to fix it so I basically threw it away. If your warranty is still valid get a refund . Everyone I know has some problem

Hi RobP, The outside of the fridge will get hot or cold at different times in the cooling cycle. If it stops getting cool then we recommend getting a serviceperson to check it out. Regards

We thought this fridge was a load of rubbish and returned it for a full refund. No problem with the refund.

Hi Andrew, Mine does get cold BUT it is noisy. I suspect very poor design.

Would not have purchased it had I known how noisy it was.

Hi Steven, If the door is not staying closed, it might be due to an issue with the hinge. Please have a look to see if the hinges are bent or loose, or if you want you can send through an image of the hinges from underneath. Thanks Regards

yep. doesn't work. i am sick of it. ahhh Also very loud condensor and bench top gets hot all the time.

It just bounces when you close it even with the most average push close . You have to place the door closed. I’ve ended up putting a door wedge up against it as a habbit so I don’t home blown up fridge or worse a fire. Bloody things get super hot with the door open for the whole day.

The same, I wouldn’t buy one given the choice again.

In fairness to Husky, this model is not designed for outside/alfresco use. It's an indoor model. Husky's Alfresco range is tropical rated and what people should be using in their alfresco areas.

Thanks for your feedback, we specifically asked for an outdoor fridge and were sold this model, perhaps I’ll have to go back to the store.

Hi Tony, I live in the SW of WA, and yes, I occasional get a bit of condensation on the glass during a humid period, but by All accounts I live where it is a very dry climate, and not humid. Living in a humid climate would be a whole new ball game and I could imagine it would be a real issue unless you have it in air-conditioning. If that is the case, this is a real and practical flaw with the unit. Do you live north of Sydney, say Brisbane.

Personally, I would try to return it, saying it is not suitable for your conditions if that is the case(ie Unsuitable for purpose). In hindsight, I should have paid more fay a Vintec, which may have been better for noise and quality as obviously glass doesn't do its job.

why is there water leaking onto the floor from the fridge

I am experiencing the same. Constant condensation to outside of glass leaving big puddle on the floor.

Same - we have just installed new floors and the condensation will cause permanent damage. After having this fridge for only 4 weeks - not impressed and looking to return it.

Yes, switch is on the light and looks like an LED. I leave it on All the time as it is in the walk in pantry, so that when I am in the kitchen vicinity it throws enough light at night not to have to other lights on.
