Powerfull multi total but has its issues – Pros Powerfully engine Reasonably light Good ergonomics Cons Gets very warm and had a couple of coils fail mainly due to excessive heat. Is harder to start than most other strimmers/ multi tools (10 primmer pumps, pull a couple of times on full choke and then move to mid choke till starts). Had several carburetor issues and replaces several

Has a special drive shaft spline on the ldx version. So not compatible with other multi tool attachments. The ld version is more compatible than the ldx version.

This strimmer is good when running but has needed more maintenance than my stihl and weedeater garden tools. Which are used as often as the husqvarna 128ldx.

This was my first husqvarna tool and I would be very reluctant to buy another. Would look at stihl or even echo when looking at replacing this. .

A good solid brushcutter, not the best brushcutter on earth in its class but definitely a good buy – Bought the 124L about 3 years ago, been zero issues apart from the fact the motor is tuned a bit on the lean side, retune by the servicing dealer is needed Motor starts relatively easy and produces fair power The bump feed head is excellent, it always works as it should Still on original sparkplug - running very nicely This brushcutter is around 27cc and since its been discontinued you can really only buy a tuned up 25cc or step up to plus 30cc units. Not sure Husqvarna made a good choice in deleting the 27/28cc motor range of brushcutters

Brilliant – Bought this , for my 3rd of an acre garden. All on a slope, have been using this more than the mower. Works every time , first time, nothing has broken,

Rubbish – Had a Black and Decker wiper sniper for 20 years, only had to tighten things and replace line and fuel, also wore out plastic line carrier. Lashed out and bought a Husqvarna 124L,looked great. After several uses, pull start fails, pull apart and here is the cheapest [censored word removed] starting mechanism, thats if you can call it that.Anyway i replace, from then on, i know to be Very careful when starting.20 times later bang there it goes again, and again and again.

My no name cheap hedge trimmer has a far better starter on it. Once running fantastic Pull starter cheap and weak
