Great ride on – Easy to get around my decent size block. Goes up hills with ease and has a Briggs and Straton motor which is the best on the market. Extremely comfortable. Can't go wrong.

Purchased in for $5,200.

Never again – Got it to replace my 18+ year old Rover rancher and it was the most stupid decisions I've made in my 50 years on this earth. Belt continually flies off, deck height adjuster lever sticks out like a sore thumb and catches on taps, shrubs, gates etc, looses traction on anything that not perfectly level, on gravel and in any thing but short grass, mechanism jams when trying to raise cutting deck, random bolts falling out , if the grass gets a a bit over grown it doesn't cut and requires re mowing in the opposite direction and the list goes on and on and on.......... and on

I had none of these problems with the rover which I've owned since the mid 90's (and still use on a bush block) or numerous other mowers I've used over the years.

The husky is something I really regret purchasing :-(

Crap – Crap. You do not need fifty words to describe absolute rubbish. But, i shall waffle on continuously about the trash that I bought. It was never built properly in the first place, when I got it home the belt fell off. Guess what there was a part missing. I shall never buy husqvarna again. The spindle where the blade attaches just fell off. PS do not send me emails.

LTH19530 is a little beauty – I have owned this machine for nearly 3 years and although it has only done some 70 hours, it has been a joy to use. I purchased the mulching attachment as well. This mower is easy to manoeuvre around tight bends such as curved garden beds, trees etc. It is also easy to go back and forth with the right foot heel/toe control. I have a 2700sq mtr block with several distinct lawn areas. It only takes about 20-30mins to mow the lot, no grass to rake or dump and it uses less fuel than my old push mower! In summer, I sometimes mow twice a week to clean up the leaves and have the lawn looking great

Great package, excellent and easy to use – i recently sold my old ride on mower, it was 10 yrs old and the hydro was fading and couldnt be fixed. i did a lot of research into new mowers for medium yards. it came down to the cub cadet of husky. in the end it was the husky as being more compact and less bad forums about it compared to cub. i made sure i bought the lth19530 rather then the lth18538. i had heard the latter had problems with oil pickup on sloped blocks, it has splash sump whereas the 19530 has pressurised sump.

used it for first time..its unreal. worth the extra on the other brands like cox and greenfield. paid $3070 cash. Worth the money

Thanks- I have just bought one! I'm writing this for the many people like myself, who have accumulated lots of injuries, but who still want to look after their own gardens. I had a Husqvarna hydrostatic ride-on a few years ago and was very happy with it. Since then I have had both knees replaced and now have severe arthritis in both feet and ankles, as well in my shoulders. I tried out many different ride-ons for 'fit'and ease of use by people with mobility problems, such as myself. It was a long, at times painful, and disheartening process- until I came across this one.

This little machine won hands down- the seat has really good adjustment and you can really stretch your legs out and relax; the hydrostatic control, operated heel/toe by the right foot is very easy to use, and functions like a brake, so you only really need to use the left foot parking brake when you are parking. The parking brake and hydrostatic speed control can be operated by a person with limited ankle flexion. The seat is high, comfortable and supportive; there is masses of room to step through with ease (the most I've seen). The turning circle looks great for a tractor ride-on. It has a towing plate. The brochure shows some tempting attachments, including a front-loader shovel.

I purchased the 2142DR for $3,799 less $500.00 trade-in for my old Yard Machine 18/42. It had a snapped axle and needed $1,200 plus fitting. Briggs was still going strong and My Husky only has a single cylinder so hope that newer Technology wins out over an extra banger. Will see.
