I would not buy another one – this is the second time I have had to have the screw that hold the needle in place fixed and the bar that holds the needle was replaced this time. If I could afford it I would get a different machine. I do straight line quilting with it and sewing cotton fabrics, I do not use it for anything other that quilting.  Show details

great sewing but – (Sorry for bad english, im from sweden;)) Had this machine for 1.5 year and believe its a great machine when it comes to good stitches and its many variations. BUT it has this stupid function to keep pressing the needle down even though it hits something hard like too thick fabric or a needle. The result is that the sewing needle breaks, the… Read more

machine stops and "needs to rest" and the broken needle is stuck and cant be removed because the machine needs to rest. Moment 22... The thing holding the needle has broke 2 times. 1st time it took 2 months until I got the machine back from service because husqvarna didnt have the spare part.

So, im not keeping this machine.

best ever – i have just updated from a 870 to the 960Q Husqvarna sewing machine. Just love it, so easy to use and everything I thought it would be but more. always loved my 870 machine and there was nothing wrong with it but this is so much better. would not hesitate to recommend this machine.

Good machine but – This is an expensive machine that lives up to expectations just takes a little getting used to as it is more advanced than cheaper computerised machines. Not too heavy to take to lessons. An extension table is not supplied with this machine which makes it awkward to use (see Cons.) Beautiful stitching and easy to learn controls. Large space next… Read more

to needle. The only fault is that it doesn't come with an extension table. This is the first time I have come across this issue as all other machines come with one supplied. Blessington Group, the Australian distributers, have decided that no-one would want one. A quilting table is available for purchase and it is $120 and huge, too big to take anywhere and to leave on for every day use.
