Excellent mower the turning circle is awesome and the engine purrs like a cat. Fantastic on fuel seating so comfortable for sitting on a mower for 2 hours. And has cruise control as a bonus. Great decision to go Husqvarna
Follow-up · Tight spaces is a challenge due to its size. But in saying that you can inch up as close as possible and reverse out. Reverse function is a blessing on this machine. But also it has a brilliant turn ratio almost on the spot so if your tight spot has a little areas for turning this machine will do it no issue. Cruise control has been a blessing honestly love this function just set the speed you want and hit cruise control.. my property is a little hilly in spots and so far no issues at all using cruise control works like a dream. Fuel gauge is the only thing I’d want improved hard to tell why fuel levels are. But in saying that I’m on 2.5 acres I’ve mowed the lot 4 times now soothing the need to refuel. So I can say it’s excellent on fuel use. In summary it’s almost perfect apart from fuel gauge which is non existent. Quick little video in cruise mode

Live on 1.75 acres 40 % of which has slopes with an incline of between 30 and 50 degrees, the 354 had no trouble at all cutting the grass on the slopes even that on the top end that was knee high. Very happy with the recommendation from the staff at Tweed Mower centre who I purchased it from.

Hi Garry, Thank you for taking the time to post. Great to hear you are happy with your Husky mower!
Send more solenoids! – 4 years old, 70 hours. Been in the shop twice, and fixed at home once, and now its broken again.... Major MAJOR reliability issues with the starter solenoid. We are on our fourth solenoid now, Husqvarna refuse to acknowledge the issue, and we refuse to send it to the shop for a huge bill when the part is $40.00. As soon as we get it running again, we will be looking to trade in for another mower brand.

12 month review – Moved onto a 4 acre property late 2022 and purchased this mower. House yard 1 acre and 3 acres horse paddocks.. It's an extremely versatile machine, we went for the biggest Husqvarna because of the cutting deck basically. Sometimes I'll have to cut a horse paddock. The large wheels do help a bit if the ground is puggy but I'm at the limit of what you would do with this machine. If I only had an acre or two of manicured lawn this machine is overkill. 30hrs over 12 months and not one issue, just fuel it and go.

HUSQVARNA TS 354 (2022 Model) – Seems like Husqvarna have turned out a winner with this TS 354 model, they've gone back to basics, with a keyed ignition and regular bar blades. I really like this mower, the cutting deck is huge at 54" almost too big for some pokey yards, as you will get a bit of grass scarring when turning on uneven ground. That said when the mower is in large open area's it's in it's element. Knocks down long paddock grass no problem. This mower is a nugget of a machine, the short wheel base gives it an insanely tight turning circle, you can go around trees nearly 360 degrees like you're on a zero turn. the 24hp Kawasaki motor has all the beef you need, "I think they recently downgraded to a 23hp Kawasaki". The mower has huge rear wheels and the ride and seat is very comfortable, the steering is so much lighter and easier to turn than my old 2015 TS242. It's been a really great machine so far. so happy with it. pros: turning circle is exceptional steering is so light and easy the ride is also exceptional it's just a great mower if you have acres of grass to mow. the 24hp Kawasaki is very quiet and just purrs away, very smooth. cons: 1. huge flap on cutting deck should have a cord to pull it up, as it gets in the way sometimes. 2. cutting deck is humongous, unless you got a lot of grass to cut opt for something smaller. 3. could do with an overdrive for more speed, bit slow when commuting around the property, but mowing wise you wouldn't want it any faster.
