IKEA Kulinarisk Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: 504.210.60Hi is this oven hard wired or plug in ?
unfortunately hardwired, it just cost me $280 for an electrician to install. It took him all of 20 minutes to remove the old oven and install the new one. Great work if you can get it.
hi there. I am considering buying an oven mainly for baking all types of things. are these ovens suitable for this? which model can you recommend?
Help, Just bought the Kulanarisk combi steam oven February 2020. Want to just steam vegetables. It only cooks them via the oven even though i have filled it with water and requested True Fan and Steam heating function. After 30 mins a slight condensation in one area on oven door but veg comes out dry and burnt not steamed. What am i doing wrong? There is no indication in manual or recipe booklet about temperature so i checked out the temp in the Kulanarisk steam oven it stated 90 degrees. Mine will not accept that it starts at 130 degrees. After two burnt dinners i am Contemplating taking it back to Ikea for a refund. However i want to make sure i am not doing anything wrong first. Any ideas welcome Disappointed Ann
I'm no expert on this function but I don't think it's designed to steam vegetables I think the steam is designed to add to the baking process.
I don't have one but am considering it. It has a full steam function and there's a video on youtube that looks like it's steaming vegetables. I'd be really surprised if it couldn't. Can't you find anything in the instructions or get help from IKEA?
Ikea did write and tell me that this machine only designed to add to the baking process as Des M says. You have to buy the steam oven which is complete other oven. Have to say i am now totally in love with my oven it really is good at steaming salmon and baking cakes, bread etc but for vegetables i use a hob top pot special for steaming. I tried steaming Veg but it only burns them dry it is not designed like normal steam oven. hope this helps.
