Does the job - Esteem covers for Hyundai Kona – I bought the 'Esteem' covers for a Hyundai Kona. 3 stars for fit - they're a bit loose/baggy, not a perfect fit & there are small areas where the seats aren't completely covered 2 stars for description - they don't have the map pockets that are advertised as included 3 stars for quality of material - it's ok... nothing outstanding. I'm glad I got… Read more
these on sale 4 stars for ease of installation
Overall, I only paid $100 for these at a sale.... I think that's a reasonable price for the product I received.
Certainly not what was advertised – Cheap and nasty, advertised as canvas and anything but. Tie straps are poorly sewn and don’t hold. Try to tighten covers to keep them in place and they break away very easily. Show details
3rd attempt and still can’t get them on – Brought for 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. It’s the most difficult job to fit as Velcro doesn’t hold. Even then, I don’t think they fit properly to the seat. I’ve even managed to rip one of the “airbag seams” while trying to install. Installation video makes it look like a breeze. Bit of a rip off at nearly $200

Does not fit and is not tailor made. Don't buy Ilana – Package says fits 79 series landcruiser but only fits dual cab. Single cab has a larger seat. Mucked around by supplier and manufacturer. Said they could fix it. After 2 months I got my refund. Inferior Chines product. I ended up getting custom woolen covers made by a company in Townsville. Show details

Split seam – We Purchased these seat covers in 2017 At $269 for Isuzu MU-X and had them professionally fitted for a further $125 Very disappointed that the front passenger base seam has split - Expected them to wear out before this would happen

Luxury,at an affordable price – The reason I'm putting this review is because I've read most that are telling you the Ilana product is not a good product, well I strongly disagree,it's a great product, and I would buy their product again without hesitation, look sheep skin is the same ,company's just put their name on package for selling purposes,so I blame human nature for the… Read more
negative response,I sold my 1998,Prado with quality wool seat covers, and purchased a Mecedes Benz,CLS500,found the leather seats slippery and uncomfortable,I became a supercheap Auto, member so I could purchase Ilana seat covers,at the members price,of $299with a futher $10.00 discount, they are excellent value, made my vehicle much more comfortable to sit in,and look great, other benefits to the Ilana product is,they give you a 5 year warranty, free neck rest, and the pattern in the design is impossible for other manufactures to duplicate, great Aussie company, will purchase my next set from Ilana when needed,my seat covers are the Gold Platinum Cloud ,side airbag compatable in slate bucket seat with adjustable headrest, size 30A,normally retail for$377,if you are after quality woollen seat covers, supercheap Auto and Ilana, are definitely the way to go,and don't let what you're read here stop you.

Don't waste your money – Purchased a set for my 2016 Prado and was disappointed that the covers literally fall to bits (see attached pics). If you want a product that you will get more then 12 months out of don't buy these. They also have annoying long strings for tying that get caught on everything. Have tried making a warranty claim (Advertised with a 5-year warranty) with the retailer but have been told this is wear and tear and not covered. Show details

Excellent custom made 25mm custom covers – Bought directly from Ilana Melbourne, were expensive top of the line. Excellent quality and fit on my Prado's . Have lasted 8+ years with lots of driving and still going strong Excellent customer service from Ilana, Doron. Drivers side base outside panel had ware at year 7. Doron had it repaired in 2 weeks with new side panel. Best investment ever. Go direct to Ilana is my advice. Great Australian company. Show details
Extremely satisfied – After dealing with auto barn Beenleigh in Queensland for two weeks over an issue with a set of Ilana seat covers.I rang Ilana in Melbourne myself. Spoke to a lovely man named Les he sorted my problem out within minutes and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from my Ilana. But the absolute neglect from auto barn Beenleigh to try and… Read more

Tailor made??? For what???? – Allegedly fitting a GLX+ MR Triton, these seat covers were good in price for canvas seat covers. The trouble started when I attempted to fit them. The headrest Velcro lines up perfectly with the stalks of the headrest, leaving the canvas folding on itself when you attempt to do it up. The straps are flimsy as hell and broke more than once as I… Read more
attempted to secure them under the seat. I stepped back to assess the job I had done on the drivers seat and found myself screwing my nose up at the baggy, ill-fitting cover before me. At this point, I scoffed as I noticed the tag reading “perfect fitting” on the side of the base cover. I moved onto the rear seats and found the bench backrest cover fitted alright and did up relatively easily, giving me a false sense of hope. I attempted to fit the bench cushion cover and was very confused to find multiple straps at the front of the cover to secure underneath a fixed, unmovable seat. I attempted to tuck away the straps into any crevasse I could fit my fingers into and prayed nobody would slide in and out of the rear seat to reveal the unsecured cover. Upon further inspection, I also found multiple, purposely-sewn gaping holes in the cover with nothing to fit through them. At this point, I decided to sit down and write this review as procrastination before fitting (or attempting to) the remaining front passenger cover. For those questioning why I didn’t give up and return the covers - I ain’t no quitter… and I lost the receipt.
Hopeless and hard to fit – Purchased these for our seven seater Mitsubishi Outlander So hard to fit and even once on don’t fit properly. Typical the YouTube makes it look some easy Shows someone fitting it with the seat on, of course it’s easy without the seat But how did you do that Really thin material Sure they won’t last long Show details

Would give 0 stars if I could – Warning - DO NOT BUY. These are not compatible with the car, although they are supposed to fit the car specifically. A waste of time, money and lots of frustrations.

Disappointing quality of car seats. Very different from what is on the website – Buyer be aware!! The quality of the seat covers delivered is a scam. The fabric is of poor quality for the amount spent 169 $. Super wrinkled and a poor fit for Toyota RAV. 4 seats. I will put them in the recycle bin to erase bad memories. Show details
Wet 'N Wild Covers poor manufacturing – One cover had fitting strap sewn into wrong place. Other cover strap came off cover. Poorly sewn on. Offer was to repair but I live over 100km away and suggestion was made to find a seamstress to fix. Will discard and buy another brand.
Waste of money - don't fit – Purchased as they are supposed to be 'taylor made' for our new Isuzu D-Max. Don't fit - about 15 cm too short on the sides, poor quality. The image on the bag shows them citing snuggly over the entire seat, this is absolutely not the case! Show details
Zero Stars – Worst $260 I have ever spent. I presumed they would be fine as made specifically for a Ford Ranger They are impossible to do up under the seats, are very poor quality, sag and will no doubt fall apart very quickly. Do not buy. Show details
The poorest quality imaginable – I bought a full set for my Mitsubishi Triton. They haven’t even lasted 2 weeks before one of the fasteners snapped. Then on the driver’s seat section the whole thing started sliding forward. A previous set of a cheap brand lasted me 7 years. If I hadn’t thrown the old ones in the bin I would have put them back on instead of using these Ilana garbage. Usual Chinese rubbish. Show details
Tailor made v bought from shelf – I bought this brand ready made they didn’t fit my MG and I decided that made to measure would work better as MG is a younger company so available range is not good and didn’t want to pay for mg branding. The made to measure covers for front and back were fitted but didn’t fit too baggy and not well put together returned to maker who agreed they… Read more
were not made properly a second pair fitted today still same baggy fit and not lining up to seat belt or pull down seat switches very disappointed to be told that the material will shrink over time not what I expected for 500+bucks anyone else had this said to them leave them on they will shrink???
One of the worst products I’ve ever bought – Bought the xtrail kit. Instructions didn’t match. Covers held together with ribbons (which you somehow have to tie up under the seat) which tear really easily. Don’t waste your money on this unless you enjoy contorting your limbs into small spaces Show details
Fits like a used condom – After searching for seat covers for my new Hilux I figured over $200 I couldn’t go too far wrong. I was wrong. Tailor made seat covers? Tailor must have been on the sauce the night before because not only did they have far too much excess material the tie straps were in positions, where unless you were a contortionist, there’s no chance of getting… Read more
to. The holes that were provided did not line up with anything and the rear armrest does not go back in its place with the cover on. I’m leaving them on because my dog skids around on the leather otherwise I would burn them to hell where they came from. They are horrible!!

Extraordinary customer service@ – My drivers side base in my 2012 Ford Ranger recently started to degrade (after 8 years of use), and i contacted Ilana to find out if the base only was still available ( the backs and rear sets are still perfect, kids dog etc). Doron replied straight away, commenting that this shouldn't happen, and offered to send me a new base. 1 week later it was… Read more
in my letterbox in Sydney (during Melbourne's stage4 Corona lockdown)! Unbelievable service! Thanks so much! This doesn't happen enough any more. Cheers.
Waste of money – Hard to secure with the straps, Velcro is a poor choice as it doesn’t hold when trying to make them tight. Even though I chose specific covers for my vehicle they do not fit correctly Show details
Not worth buying – I purchased a set for my new Rav4, thinking thinking they would be ok. Unfortunately they are very hard to fit and they don't fit properly. Looking at the quality they won't last very long & I will probably be glad to see them go. I would never but these again as they are very average, pay the extra money & get locally made custom fitted seat covers. Show details
Not worth half the money you pay for them! – Purchased the neoprene seat covers hoping they would last longer than the cloth ones, but they are just as bad. Very poor fit, almost impossible to put enough tension on the tie strings without ripping them off the seat covers. Went back to the shop where I purchased them from and he said he was aware that they were poor quality fit. Won’t bother with this brand again. Very poor quality for the money they charge! Terrible fit. Too baggy – Purchased seat covers for my Holden Colorado dual cab today. Not happy with the fit at all. Too baggy and poor quality stitching. Not worth $266.95 (purchased from Supercheap will be returning tomorrow) Show details
Fantastic once we fitted them correctly and as they were designed and made to be fitted – Initially found the base covers hard to secure in place and the base covers seemed baggy and ill-fitting. Contacted Ilana and eventually visited their factory on Hoddle St where the fabulous Lucy showed us that we had it all wrong. Right down to having the driver and passenger covers on the wrong sides. Once Lucy showed us the easy and right way… Read more
to secure them we headed home and finished the job. We are in love with our covers. They look truely custom made and they are so comfy. Thanks for the fabulous customer experience and wonderful product Ilana and Lucy!
Impossible to fit – I have just spent 1.5 hours trying to fit one seat over to my Hilux SR Ute. The ties meet in the middle of the underneath of the seat and are just about impossible to get to to tie them off. The seat cover itself is ok just the ties need redesigning. Rang Ilana Accessories to give some constructive feedback but they were not really interested. Dont buy these until they redesign them! Show details
Do Not Buy – My covers are just over 12 months old. The driver's seat has warn a hole, as shown in photo. The rear cover never fit correctly around the seat belt, as shown I photo. The stitching split about a week after getting them in the back with very little use. The holes in the back of the rear seat covers where the seat clips when upright, they gold… Read more
down, do not line up with the clips so they needed a hole cut into them. They are not custom fit they are just expensive crap!
ILANA swat cover – I bought rear seat cover for Nissan SUV. The cover does the job but has meny problems. The cover is tailor maid but the fitting is not good. The stitching is done poorly. I recommend not to buy seat covers from ilana as they are not worth $250 Show details
ILANA tailor made car seat cover for Hyundai Tucson does the job but isn't fantastic – I couldn't justify buying genuine original Hyundai Tucson seat covers made by Hyundai. They cost an eye watering $334.67 for a pair of front seat covers and $487.46 for rear seat cover. That's $822.13 for the set. OMG! Whilst the rear seat cover does look decent in the picture, I have no clue what material is used on the back, the center fold… Read more
down armrest / cup holder will no longer fold down. Still it looks decent. The front seat covers however are much worst. They remind me of singlets / gym stringers with wide open sides covering only the middle part of the seat. I totally get that it doesn't want to hinder the airbags in the event of an inflation but I can't see how this idea / design is practical. And this product is advertised as neoprene, waterproof product. Well, it isn't going to be waterproof with such big openings on the sides. The only good thing I see with this front seat covers is perhaps they make leather seat look good creating two tones if you have light colour leather and interior. But then you lose the leather look and I have already been told they move around so that's going to be annoying.
I almost sunk my money on the backseat cover given one could get them about $100 off online. But this product is so unpopular that I couldn't find any information / picture on it. And, as far as I can tell, the rear seats are not clipped on like some other Hyundai cars but bolted down making installation difficult. I wasn't going to unbolt the nuts to remove the seats so to properly fit the covers. If I get it from the dealer at RRP price, Hyundai would fit it for me but again, I don't know what the back looks like and it is just too expensive.
Therefore, I had to look elsewhere and my eyes landed on this ILANA after market seat covers. Advertised as tailor made cover for Hyundai Tucson 06/2015 to current model although website doesn't spell out it is a ILANA product, just saids tailor made Hyundai Tucson seat covers. It is $169 for the whole set, much more affordable, and free delivery. It is not waterproof but water resistant. Said to be made from micro suede. Yeah, very short micro suede indeed. My old car has suede covers and they are much richer and thicker. The fabric is almost black, darker than original seats and interior colour.
Fitting the covers is pretty easy and the instructions are adequate. I didn't have any problem at all. Couldn't fit the ties through under the rear seats of course. Therefore, I'd expect the rear cover to come off requiring refitting from time to time. Will see. I have a towel over the top because my dogs sit there. This is the very reason why I have seat covers, in case they have a toilet accident on the seats. The rear seat covers also have holes in the seat section near the seat belt buckles which do nothing and I feel they may be for older car models.
In short, the ILANA seat covers are affordable and do a decent job. It is no premium product and looks a bit shabby. This product claims to have factory style design to blend into your interior. This is not true. It is black hence doesn't really match the interior. They do wrap around and mould to the shape of the seats well and would not move around if you tie up the ties properly. I will use them until they fall apart. Rear seat cover does come with a zip to open it up so the center armrest / cupholder can be pulled down. It is a nice touch and there is a separate cover just to cover the rear center armrest / cupholder and front seat covers do come with back pockets albeit they aren't strong.
Given its much more reasonable price, this ILANA seat covers are OK hence I give it 3 stars. Compared with original Hyundai covers price and practicality, it would be 5 stars though. After almost one year of use, the covers still look new and haven't moved at all. I am very happy with this product.
Waste of money impossible to fit properly – Had covers for one month they keep sliding off the seat just spent an hour trying to adjust broke two straps not worth $259 also neoprene material is very sweaty dont waste money on this product.
4 pairs and all faulty – I had 2 Neoprene sets with stitching coming undone after a week then 1 canvas set which went from black to grey in 2 weeks. The latest set of basic covers ripped while fitting them
Terrible – Incredibly hard to fit. Video showing them being fitted has the guy take the seats out. If i could give 0 i would!! Show details
