over $1000 with the original vendor issue to end up in a worse situation... as neither of the two can have either two or four globes on and also affect the towel rails. Dont touch IXL products.

Absolutely NO customer service – Bathroom light/heat failed, electrician found IXL product had failed after 18 months. IXL contacted and issue logged. reply. Told Bunnings and lodged formal complaint as IXL are not providing the warranty advertised. 5 year warranty is not true as they don't bother to service their warranty. Do not buy anything from them

A minor safety concern – The fascia is held in place by a single spring attached to a small plastic hook. So there is a single point of failure that will lead to the fascia falling from the ceiling. I could wish for a more robust way of holding the fascia up. A redeeming feature is that the fascia doesn't weigh much so would probably not cause more than a minor injury if it landed on someone.

The original and the best – After being spooked by the reviews for new models (neo and similar) about 2 years ago I bought this. It occurred to me today that 2 years later, I have never replaced a single heat lamp or the light, and it is working perfectly. is nothing to whinge about.

Pretty quiet, epic extraction power that results in no steam on the mirrors.. no dramas.

Only downside is that the default light it comes with is not that powerful. Could be a problem if the only light in your bathroom. Compared to the similar products I avoided thanks to ProductReview my assessment is this thing looks a bit 90s but is excellent... full 5 stars.
