Had my 3-in-1 installed less than 5 years ago and the fan has recently started squeaking and one of the heat lamps just died. The replacement (Chinese-made) lamp packaging spruiks, "long life of 5,000 hours." My heat lamps are so rarely used that a total of 50 hours would be a massive stretch (yes, in 5 years, there's NO way I've even come close to 1,000 hours use per year). Pretty unimpressed with the quality of this Aussie brand. Show details

Worked as advertised, no problems – Had this unit for 6 years and it never skipped a beat. No issues, would buy again. Surprised there arent more units on sale that have a draught stopper. Happy to recommend it to others. Show details ·  1

Not a product l would buy again – The 2 units we had installed had to be repaired with new parts when they were new. At least the company did the right thing and paid for the electrician. Show details

Same same – I had one installed. Worked first day then failed. Retailer had it replaced and had to pay sparky again to install. Same issue as previously. Had a service guy from ixl out to inspect. Advised me that you cannot have an exhaust fan above your shower running whilst using as this sucks all the air out of room and unit need good airflow. The lack of… Read more

airflow blows an internal fuse. Only option is to replace with an alternate unit. The sparky made a buck out of it!

The other advice from ixl service guy was to always leave bathroom door open when showering. Go figure

Failed after four weeks – Similar to the other review here, mine failed a couple of days ago. I've had a multimeter on the switches and controls and they look OK. I've looked, but not been able to find any obvious internal fuse, but there is a thermal overload sensor, which I can't replace. Back to the big box hardware store tomorrow, assuming that I can find the receipt. James

2nd replacement – We bought two of these for our bathrooms less than a year ago, and less than four months, both had failed, just stopped working, light and fan. Replaced by the retailer, and now one of thes has again failed. Disappointing as the design features where heat is prevented from moving between the roofspace and the room was appealing. As well, if the… Read more

heater lights were turned on the room light went off, and vv, so saving power. Product worked effectively when it was working. Just not reliable and cost more than the standard product.

Absoulute rubbish – Thought I would support Australian business by purchasing two of these. Never again. Both where trouble after a few months. I contacted customer support who made a date for someone to come around. They never came. I contacted customer support several more times who just gave me the run around. Next time I will look for an alternative.  Show details

If you want a bathroom heater breaks every year, buy it! – I bought this ixl product in 2011, I thought I was happy with it although it's fan isn't very strong. Unfortunately, it was broken because of thunderstorm, so we had a replacement in 2012. It was broken on July of 2013, so ixl arrange people came and fix it for free. However, it happened again this year (May, 2014). We contacted ixl customer… Read more

service, and they said we are in the waiting list. But we've been waiting for more than one month, NO ONE COME! And my bathroom started to get mouldy!! We made phone call again, then we got told that we have to pay for call out fee $125, and $33/15mins! I suppose it was still under 5 years warranty. Really disappointed of this product and company.

Bad quality with bad warranty service.
