machine is fairly quiet to use, I was looking at the Singer 2250 Tradition but this machine is quieter and the reverse lever on the Singer was above the needle area and I thought that would be inconvenient. I haven't found anything major to dislike except maybe the colour - the knobs are lavender in colour and there are no other colours available. Also, the machine was advertised as coming with a cover which I assumed would be made from vinyl as they usually are, but this one was plastic of the type that Myer bags are made from so really won't go the distance.
