winder motor so you don't need to unthread to wind a bobbin if you are in the middle of sewing. There is a knee lifter for the presser foot if you wish to use this, it means you have both hands free when doing large projects or quilting and something I couldn't do without.

A regular clean of the bobbin area and a drop of oil on the wick (below the bobbin case) is all that's needed to keep this fabulous machine purring through your next project.

My machine is currently for sale but this is only due to upgrading, not for any other reason, and it will be replaced with another TOL Janome. Having owned Janomes for 30+ years I prefer to stick with a machine that gives trouble free service. I will be sad to see it go, but I'm sure someone else will love using this machine as much as I have.
