JBL Authentics 200
VerifiedMPNs: JBLAUTH200BLKAS and JBLAUTH200WHTAS1 review
Purchased this speaker for use with my tablets,TV and Amazon music. Sound could be described as average for this type of speaker. Audio is much better with Sony and Harmon Kardon Studio portables. A reasonable person would have expected better sound considering it is hard wired to power with no batteries. The biggest letdown is the 1990s era bluetooth codec being only AAC. The audio lag is horrendous at between 1/4 to 1/2 second when viewing any video and in this the third decade of the century is appalling. It looks like JBL just cheaped out with no AptX codec support which is available in most competitors product at a fifth of the price. I would not recommend this speaker to anyone and would opt for competitors medium to larger portables. I would sell it on ebay but as I have a concience would feel guilty lumbering anyone with this piece of dog poo.
