Sound is always dropping out and by always I mean every two days guaranteed. I have to keep resetting the soundbar to get the sound back. I've had the soundbar for about 4 weeks and have reset it so many times. The sound will drop out when turning it on, when changing channel or just when it's been on for a while. It's a piece of rubbish and I regret purchasing it.
JBL Soundbar 1300 – Purchased this soundbar from Harvey Norman and we are very happy with the sound quality. Easy to set up and excellent for listening to music or movies and tv. You have to download an app (annoying, but easy to use) but once you set up the sound to your preference you really don't need to go back to the app so you can delete it and can just use the remote. Quality is very good and base is perfect. Searched for a while to decide which soundbar to purchase but very, very happy with the JBL 1300. Surround sound and dolby atmos is excellent. Great service from Harvey Norman. As the salesman said "JBL only make speakers not tvs or other electronics so all their efforts go into making the speakers perfect."

Performance is unreliable at best – Audio can cut out intermittently. This requires power cycling the soundbar to function properly, which can be frustrating and disruptive during use. The setup procedure is unnecessarily complicated and problematic. I don't want a speaker that requires an app. I installed the app (which crashed often), configured the speaker and uninstalled the app. This soundbar requires an internet connection to get setup. I regret my purchase. I'm paying the stupid fee for not bothering to do research. This is because of my positive experiences using many other JBL products that look, sound and feel like premium products.
