JBL BAR 500

Great improvement – I got this from JB hi-fi which I price matched, it is definitely not worth full RRP the price they have it for now is fully worth it. The sound is crisp clear and very airy, it makes my Onkyo sound bar that came with my tv sound very plain indeed. The sub is ok , if you have polished floor boards you will get more boom that carpet. Very easy to operate, sounds fantastic with music, enough power for a large room but in no means a replacement for a good 5.1 channel amp. The downsides There is no RCA ports on the back to add things like cd a turntable digital tuner if you wanted to. I don't know where JBL claimed 590 watts from it is no where near that I have my 150 RMS amp up on third and it louder, in my opinion it really 70 to 90 ture watt power My conclusion For the sale price great price of kit,I am still getting used to having tv and bar remote but I am glad I bought it
