sound you can't really change it; what you hear out of the box is what you're stuck with. We went back and swapped it for a Sonos Arc after a week.

Sounds great... some of the time – The soundbar sounds great. Then I noticed that some of the time it would seem like the surround would be inconsistant if I paused and restarted. say I need to talk to level two tech support but they are incapable of getting me to that support team. I am giving up and going to call Harvey Norman to see about refund. I value customer support and JBL failed on that today.

Used to work and sound excellent, now it's junk, way too soon – Purchased this device approximately 2 years ago and everything was ok, not special but it worked as advertised. It is not working as advertised now, it does not connect with Wi-Fi every time I turn it on, once I unplug the rear power lead and plug it back in everything works fine again. an email from tech support??? and the problem they were told was different than what I had explained to call center so had to reply with all the details again they kept asking telling me all different steps to try which I told them I had already tried still couldn't get through that the only thing not working was the hdmi pass through wasn't working & was probably a dry solder joint because it worked until the bar heated up. Haven't heard from them again in more than two weeks. I'm a retired tech so I will fix it myself. The lesson learned is not to buy a product where you can't speak to the service dept directly other wise you will waste hours emailing. So stay away from JBL until they sort their Service.

Speakers dropping out – Was looking for a reasonable stereo to connect to my race sim set up, was not interested in a sound bar until I heard this one. Got it home and set up and it has a great sound for my sim with a punchy 10" sub. and cannot be adjusted, but that's not why I got it. Now the problems begin. The rear wireless speakers keep dropping out, some times both, other times the left rear and then the sub even both rears and sub. Very irregular and very annoying. All speakers are within 2m from the sound bar with nothing between them. Also the speaker calibration does not work, it keeps saying retry. Contacting JBL and getting help looks very slow, can't ring them, I have to wait for them to email me, and waiting, waiting, waiting. If I don't hear from them soon I will returning it for a refund and going to a proper surround setup.
