I purchased the JBL Tour one Mk2 headphones in August 2024 and after about 16 months (January 2026) one of the hinges broke. This prevents them sitting correctly and causes them to press on my ear which becomes painful and also lets noise in. They are now unwearable. I didnt report the issue until recently (May 2026). I contacted JBL and asked what my options were. They advised me that the only option is to buy a new set as this issue is not repairable. I was not happy with that and said this is unreasonable and asked for my headphones to be replaced. They declined and offered me 35% discount on another purchase. Suffice to say I will not be purchasing another JBL product. it's a shame because up to that point I was happy with these headphones.

At first it’s the best thing ever then after about a year the material starts to flake off. I bought Jbl before but the cheaper ones so I thought it was good so invest in an expensive pair thinking good quality is worth the price. But I was so wrong. After email them they say can’t fix and only offer me a 20% discount from online store only. Which is hardly any after shipping costs are factored in. In short. Invest in another brand

Broken within first week of use, only purchased a month ago. JBL wont offer a refund or replacement and have sent me a return label to assess my pair as the only offer of remedy. I will be demanding a refund and purchasing a higher quality product which is actually worth my money. If you google these headphones you will find numerous horrible reviews - dont waste your money on JBL. Their customer service is also notoriously horrible.

Great sound – Got this JBL for my birthday and I get to use it two days after heading to Singapore. Very nice package Dup the head phone, comes with charger and audio jacks. The pairing is so simple with IPhone. One can control the various functions like ANC (active noise cancelling) and Ambient Aware. Ambient aware is really useful for example if you want to hear the surrounding noise and the talk through allowed you to talk to people or hearing the pilot without taking the headset off.
I loved how the ANC work, and it is very good right up there with my previous Jabra and Bose. However I did discovered one annoying thing, the head set is so sensitive that if you happened to slight touch the head rest you will immediately activate the other ambient function. This I found very annoying during the flight from Perth to Singapore. I tried to use the App but I could not deactivate the function.
The ear muff is so comfortable through out the 5 hours. Overall I thought the headphone is really good, not once did I have experienced the lost of connectivity.
As for general music playback, wow this JBL is bang on the money. I am not an audiophiles genius so I am happy with the recommendation setting by the App. No fault from watching movies or listen to live concert and plain old music.
Overall love it despite the fact I have not figure out how to isolate the sensitive switching from ANC through to ambient aware.
