These have never worked from new. I regret buying these ear buds. They never charge, even when left overnight. An annoying doom noise comes over the headphones and then the earbud in question turns off. I have watched videos, I have cleaned the contacts with alcohol, I have juggled the buds to ensure connection. Nothing works. They are unreliable and CANNOT be used in any important setting such as an online meeting.

My first, and last JBL product.

Purchased in for $60.

Good ear buds for the price, decent bass! – Good ear buds for the price, decent bass! Pros… Good sound for the price Comfortable to wear (while stationary!) Noise cancellation works fairly well Battery life is great. Cons… No good for sports ( buds fall out easy when moving though walking would be fine) Not really a negative, jbl headphone app required to tune sound via equaliser. You won’t enjoy the sound without the app.

Like I said above, if you don’t download the jbl app, sound is terrible! Thank god the app works well!

Update… I’ve given these to my son. All of the above is true but I don’t like the way the buds stick out of my ears. I look in the mirror and they look ridiculous!!! Yuk… I’m going back to my Samsung buds! At least my son can use them so I didn’t waste my money.

Purchased in for $92.

Poor design, Poor customer Service and zero accountability – I bought this from JB Hi Fi In Penrith two months ago. it is good in all aspects except being an earbud. it will not stay in your ear more than 10 minutes when your mouth is closed and if you start talking or eating, that will last reduced to 2 minutes or less. you need constantly to push them in and after just five minutes you realise, it is way easier to just hold the phone next to your ear instead of jiggle two earbuds in your ears.

There is something Absolutely wrong with the design of this device, other purchaser also noticed and reported that via review in different platforms. besides the after sales service of JBL is so stupid that when you approach retailer ( in this case JB hi fi) they tell you to contact manufacturer and when you contact manufacturer, they say you have to approach retailer. To conclude, there is not Warranty or after sales services when it comes to JB products. so it is definitely a " No For Ever " from me.

So, Unless you have $150 to throw away or you hate someone and want to show how you feel about them via a $150 Gift, Stay away from this product.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi.

What, what .... headphones are in. I can't hear you – I love me a good headphone. I have several, all lower priced ones, for different occasions. I have the hook around the ear for exercise, and other earbuds of various hearing quality. I purchased JBL Tune 130nc TWS because they were on sale and they were noise cancelling. I downloaded the app for my phone and iPad and can choose when I want to be vaguely aware of what is going on around me or completely oblivious. (now I know how some politicians feel).

I have only used it for a few hours every day since I purchased it a week ago and still have plenty of charge left.

I am really rather chuffed with my purchase.

Purchased at JB Hi-Fi for $69.

Decent sound... if they would stay in your ears – These noise cancelling ear buds do an Ok job of cancelling noise - you can definitely hear the difference when the noise cancelling is turned on - and have excellent sound quality (particularly the bass response). They paired easily and quickly with my iPhone, stay charged up in their case, re-pair automatically when taken out of their charging case, all the "tap once for that" / "tap twice for this" features list works fine (once you interpret what each is meant to do from the efficiently worded user's manual), call clarity is good too and the app gives you some good configurability.

The thing these earbuds don't do well is STAY IN - which is a somewhat essential, intrinsic, possibly even critical design aspect. They are a failure of form, which is a pity because they rock in terms of function.

Essentially they are only good for calls and music at your desk/computer/driving/when generally not moving around. It didn't matter what size rubber grommet was used, the part that goes into the ear canal doesn't enter the canal far and so it has no purchase. As a result, you are relying on the ear buds to just sit there under their own volition. You will need a head band to keep them in place if doing literally any kind of activity.

Purchased for under $100 on sale from JB Hifi.
