$20.00 refund, and I had to go to Bunnings and search for the most appropriate female connector myself. To my surprise, I found the right one, as the one supplied was a mismatched connector so be aware of this.
Once I finally managed to get the unit working, things only got worse. After about 10–15 minutes of use, the high-pressure hose split in two areas simultaneously. The hose was not kinked, twisted, or in contact with the engine like they say, yet it still burst under pressure. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the supplied black hose is rated at only 3400 PSI, while the machine itself produces up to 4800 PSI, a clear mismatch. That means the hose provided is simply not compliant or suitable for the pressure output of this unit.
Edisons customer support insists that the hose must have come into contact with the hot motor. Even if that were the case, that should not have happened and still take that amount of heat without issues. In other words, what they are saying is that the black high-pressure hose is made of cheap plastic that will kink easily and melt or burn under normal use.
When I raised the issue with the support team, they maintained that the hose had melted due to contact with the motor, which was physically impossible given the hose’s position and the direction of the damage (Look at the photos). I even reconnected the hose and tested the positioning myself — there’s no way it could have touched the engine. Despite clear photographic evidence and technical logic, the company refused to acknowledge this as a manufacturer’s fault and told me it wasn’t covered by warranty. If the hose had contacted the hot motor or exhaust causing such damage then this is not accidental damage as they said, but a design and quality issue.
In short: • Supplied with wrong hose connector — not usable out of the box. • Flimsy, under-rated hose that cannot handle the unit’s pressure. • Cheap plastic material that can kink, melt, or burst easily. • Poor customer support unwilling to take responsibility or investigate properly. • Misleading component compatibility — a potential safety risk if the hose bursts.
Although the pressure unit looks and seems to work great. Customers should be extremely cautious when buying this product.

Great light weight portable pressure washer – Great for around the home. Have cleaned concrete paths back to plain concrete with this and removed all the mold quickly. Good pressure for most jobs. MB. They gave me the runaround for months - things like “ensure your water hose is tightened” “where is the oil coming from” etc. After I insisted with Kogan they suggest I ship it across the country to Sydney, pay for labor to pull it apart and then quote on a repair !!! Would have been more expensive than buying another one. After escalating again at Kogan, I finally received a response from a technician claiming that it is unrepairable as the gearbox seal is warped and as it’s past warranty there is nothing they can do. We used it maybe 6 times for small jobs !! I am now waiting for Kogan to respond on how I go about leaving feedback of this product on their site as the feedback that is there CLEARLY does not reflect what we can all read here. I regret not doing my research properly which would have led me here. I will also be leaving feedback here regarding Kogan who should do background checks on the products they promote. purchase a replacement hose for half the cost of the machine. The funny thing is that this machine is less then 12 months old. Guys, stay away from this machine and purchase from Bunnings or somewhere else where you will receive better service and support

Weakest pressure washer I have ever seen – Low power pressure washer. The one tip provided can not even make a wide spray. Disappointing – Received this today and set it up as per instructions in manual. The pressure was good but the trigger attachment leaks like crazy which also kept sporadically turning the machine on when I wasn't even pulling the trigger. Very noisy and low pressure – From the first time I used this washer I tried to return it due to low pressure, very noisy and turbo nozzle faulty. Crazy sales staff were very difficult to deal with and they wanted a video to show the faults which didn’t achieve anything. After about 4 months I got a replacement nozzle. Lovely looking exterior - Never again! – I have a Jet-USA 3500 PSI RX500 which I used once for about 10 minutes and then the pressure dropped and it has never worked since. This was my only problem . Once I assemled the machine it worked very well , great pressure but the water jet , on high pressure mode , only cleans one spot . unlike the K 'archer , where the jet is circular . So you cannot high pressure clean driveways etc because the water jet is like "drawing " on the concrete and the lower pressure nozzle is not strong enough for this job ,
Overall I am quite satisfied and will use it just for cleaning my car .
Worst experience I have ever had – I used only 15 times and it is stop working.It is a lemon. You should spend almost a day to take it to service at seven hills sydney. I would not recommend this supplier to anyone .
Decent value & quality however PSI rating missleading – Bought online to replace a similar sized Makita unit from Masters a few years ago. This Jet-USA RX470 appears as well manufactured as the Makita HW102, perhaps a little better. administrated rating system. Rating may also have something to do with supplied single nozzle not allowing stripping action. (wanted to remove moss and lichen from cement and tile). Price was good so didn't bother returning as it's an otherwise quiet and tidy pressure cleaner. My advice. Next time I'll get a petrol one with horsepower rating.
