Worst reusable cup - lid leaks! – This is the worst reusable cup I have owned. It was a gift and I wanted to like it, it sounded great with its borosilicate glass and medical grade silicone, but sadly, the lid leaked from the very first sip I took from it, and it was just not fit for taking on the go. It has been sitting in the back of my cupboard, unused, and I cannot bring… Read more

myself to throw it away (that would defeat the intention - to keep things from going to landfill - and borosilicate glass cannot be recycled in curbside recycling) and I would not want to pass it (and the associated problems) on to anyone else.

This cup is awesome – I don't write reviews, but this cup has inspired me to write my first. Each morning for the past 3 years my Joco 12oz mug has been filled up with coffee. Its silicone grip and cap have not lost shape, become brittle, or stained. I have taken it camping, on roadtrips into the city for work (it fits perfectly in my car cup holder), and use it daily… Read more

at my desk.

I have knocked it over multiple times and only the smallest amount of liquid escapes when horizontal due to the perfect fitting lid.

The glass and silicone combo make it super easy to wash.

"But wouldn't the glass break easily?" I hear you ask. Well now we come to the ultimate cause of this review.

I left my beloved cup on the roof of my car full of delicious hot coffee and took off on my rural road. I was going 92 or 93km/hr when I suddenly realised where my cup was. I was distraught - thinking that it must have fallen off while going around a corner, or by the severe wind - so I hit the brakes and pulled to the side of the road.

That was when I realised my mistake - the cup was still on the roof, but I had slowed too quickly.

I heard the cup fall on its side, then quickly pick up speed as it rolled forward over my roof. Wincing, I couldn't help but try to slow my car to an immediate stop. One heavy bump onto the lower windscreen, over the bonnet and then onto the bitumen. I heard it hit the ground and I slammed on the brakes to finish slowing and I pulled over - the cup that had brought me so much joy was now potentially gone forever.

Swearing to myself for being so forgetful, I opened my door and went to pick up the pieces of my broken heart, I mean cup.

Behind me and to the side of my car I couldn't see any evidence of glass shrapnel, so I walked around my car and there it was on the edge of bitumen, just a meter in front of my vehicle..

It was intact - absolutely no damage whatsoever - the cap had fallen off on impact with the road and it had bounced and rolled for about 15 meters, but the lid had no damage and went straight back on the unblemished glass cup.

I couldn't believe it - this cup is amazing and so I felt the least I could do is write this review.

Thankyou for taking the time to read and I recommend this cup 10/10.

Loved it – Lid was surprisingly secure, no leaks. Nice to hold. Then I mislaid lid. Have been unable to find replacement. Web site says permanently out of stock. Replacement parts are important for these products otherwise they cease to be environmentally sound Show details

Perfect size - fits in my bag – I received Joco's piccolo sized coffee cup from Life in Style event and can't get over it! I've been using this every day and it fits so nicely inside my bag due to its small size (I'm a Piccolo drinker). Love this.

Great quality cup that stands test of time – I had purchased and used a number of cups before finally buying the JoCo reusable cup. I love that it’s glass and the easy way the lid can be put on and be secure. I’ve now used it multiple times weekly for over three years and it’s still going strong.

Perfect Really like my 12oz Joco glass reusable coffee cup. I always (well used to) order any coffe – Really like my 12oz Joco glass reusable coffee cup. I always (well used to) order any coffee from a cafe in a disposable cup because it keeps my coffee hotter. Wanting to do my bit for the environment I decided to purchase a reusable coffee cup. I researched a lot of cups on the market & it came down to a choice of 2. Joco & the more we’ll known… Read more

Keep Cup brand. Both are glass which is great for drinking from (feels like a good quality cup) & for keeping coffee temperature hot. Both have a silicon cup collar but Joco cups have a wider silicon cup collar which is the reason why I chose the Joco cup over the Keep Cup. The other difference between the two cups is the spill proof lid. Keep Cup has a spill proof lid but Joco does not. (This was not an issue for me plus I have found non spill travel cups seem to have more parts to clean) The other thing I liked was that the silicon lid on the Joco cup had no plastic taste. The Joco 12 oz size feels comfortable & doesn’t feel too large. There seems to also be a large range of colours which is also a plus.
