NEW cornstarch RUINED with BAD SMELL, Downsizing product AND not as silky as previous – Decades, and I mean many DECADES of using your cornstarch baby powder. NOW, you CHANGED it!!!!!!!! It STINKS, very HORRIBLE smell and it is NOT as silky soft as before. The blue lid ones were 255grams, and smelled delightful and was SO silky smooth soft!! I used it, used it on the kids, it was fabulous! NOW, you put a GREEN lid on it, DOWNSIZE… Read more

it by -55 grams (so now it’s 200grams), it’s NOT as silky as before and it STINKS!!!!!!!! And the BOTTLES look ‘almost’ the same size!!!!! A trick to the eye to RIP off consumers!!

It smells like the NORMAL ‘TALC’ baby powder!!!

It’s SO GROSS!!!!!!

You ruined it!!!!!!

NOW, let’s COMPARE the OLD cornstarch baby powder VERSUS the NEW cornstarch baby powder:

OLD Johnson’s Cornstarch baby powder (255grams - blue lid) ingredients:

1. Zea Mays (Corn) Starch 2. Calcium Hydroxyapatite 3. Fragrance 4. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract 5. Tocopheryl Acetate (a type of Vitamin E) 6. Benzyl Salicylate (which is a type of balsamic herbal oily sweet scent, which gave the original Cornstarch baby powders, it’s beautiful scent!)

Calcium Hydroxyapatite is a mineral complex derived from cow bones, NOT rocks!

NEW (and DOWNSIZED) Johnson’s Cornstarch baby powder (200grams - green lid) ingredients:

1. Zea Mays (Corn) Starch 2. Tricalcium Phosphate 3. Fragrance 4. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract 5. Tocopheryl Acetate (a type of Vitamin E)

Regarding TRICALCIUM Phosphate:

Tricalcium phosphate tends to to get their calcium source from ROCKS with a high concentration of phosphate. And remember, your body isn’t designed to digest rocks.

So Tricalcium Phosphate is CHEAPER than Calcium Hydroxyapatite!!

So Johnson’s NOT only went to a CHEAPER ingredient, they DOWNSIZED the baby powder as well, PLUS RAISED THE PRICE of the product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PHOTOS ATTACHED to compare ‘how’ the bottles look the same size (even though they DOWNSIZED) and the difference in ingredients.

Please BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL formula or AT LEAST add back the BENZYL SALICYLATE to help the fragrance!! Taking this from the ingredients has made the new smell ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!

Great to prevent rashes – This powder is great for preventing nappy rashes and other types of rash, although I find that it doesn't stay on the skin as well as other brands. This powder is also extremely fine, which may have something to do with it. It does treat rashes ok though but I find it works better to "prevent" rashes. Love that it has Vit E and Aloe in it though.… Read more

Great to prevent rashes. Contains Vit E, Aloe and Cornstarch It has a very fine texture to it and doesn't really stick (stay on) onto the skin. It rolls off my baby's skin.

It's changed ! – What have they done to the old perfume? It's now too strong and completely different. None of the old memories are coming back when I use it on my granddaughter. I now have 3 bottles, hoping that it could be a batch problem. 1 appears to be made in Jakarta, 1 in Surabaya (both Indonesia) and a small travel one that's 18 months old. this one… Read more

doesn't say where it's made, but it has an Aussie barcode (first 2 numbers are '93') and it smells fine.

Johnson and Johnson, disgraceful.

Perfume has been changed.

OK – Overall I personally found the perfume of this product was too overpowering and I have taken to using plain corn flour from the flour aisle in the super market which does exactly the same thing, is cheaper and has no perfume. This product however is worth considering if perfumes aren't a problem for you or your family, as it is effective in… Read more

absorbing moisture and protecting against nappy rash. Absorbs moisture, helps protect against nappy rash. Readily available and relatively cheap. J&J state that this product is mild and is dermatology and allergy tested, but it still has a very strong perfume to it, which I found aggravated my allergies.

Good – This product does what it is meant to do. It really helps to absorb extra moisture and prevent nappy rash. I have even used it on myself to prevent chafing in hot sticky weather. It can be messy like all talcum powders are - but there isn't really a way of avoiding that. This is a good brand and a very effective product. This is a great product.… Read more

Helps soothe nappy rash and chafing. The cornstarch in it really helps absorb the moisture. Readily available at chemists, supermarkets and department stores. Small sized bottle. Can be messy just like all talcum poweders are.

Excellent – My son got thrush after I took antibiotics for mastitis and I was advised to use this to help his sore bottom. I was surprised at how much it really helped him to recover. You only need to use a small sprinkle and it dries baby well after a bath without becoming lumpy. Just wish it was in a bigger bottle as I had mastitis for the 4 months that… Read more

I was breastfeeding. But, as I contined to use this, baby did not get thrush for each of the antibiotic prescriptions that I took .... perhaps it helped? Really helped baby when he got nappy rash - left skin soft - smells fresh Small bottle

Excellent – This powder is really great for keeping the skin dry. I use it on my baby and on myself as well. It also has a pleasant but subtle fragrance so you don't have to worry about smelling like typical baby powder. It is sometimes difficult to find at the shops and it is only a small bottle and it does work out more expensive than other powders. I… Read more

Excellent – Great powder, good for baby and for teen ager and young adult too, don't apply it too much otherwise you will look to white and funny. Actually I use this powder for my face as it helps me to obsorb the excess oil on my face. I like it very much and it can reduce the number of pimples. some store don't have it for sale

Excellent – Overall a great product. Very reasonably priced and a very effective product. So easy to apply and smells great. This is something that every change table should have. Can also be used as a normal talc, it is just more absorbent. Well known and trusted brand. Designed specifically for nappy changes and to prevent nappy rash. Nothing, a great product.
