warm, definately warm enough for a very pleasant shower. I like the ease with which the flow & temp can be adjusted. The supplied shower head gives a good flow, but if water is at a premium ( I travel mostly in South Australia) the bidet head available through Bunnings works really well, great to have quick connect fittings supplied. In the final washup, a great unit & and well worth the investment.

us perfectly. "Just" in the sense that when you use it.... it always works. We also purchased the double shower tent at the same time.... as with the hot water system... it gets the job done with plenty of features and pockets to store our shower items. We now have the HotTap installed in our 1983 Unimog and continue to carry the shower tent with us. We will soon be hitting the road full time and even though it is an older unit... must be 4 years old i suppose.... it is still going strong. We are nearing the end of a three week shake down trip and have taken nice hot showers almost every day. We carry 600 litres of water and a 20m length of quality garden hose so we can set the shower tent up away from camp. The Joolca pump has more than enough grunt to push the hot water to the shower head. Feel free to use the pics and text if need be. Our next purchase from you guys will be the triple shower tent, floor and awning with fly. I couldnt imagine a better more versitile setup for showering and hygine on the road. Best Shower Ever – I purchased a Joolca Hottap Outing for a recent camping trip to Wunglebung in NSW. I was surprised to discover that they already had these HWS in place set up in a horse float bathroom of all things......so I used theirs!!! Outside temp was -3 Celsius. Cold water from a stream will only just get hot enough so you aint shivering and really cold water you still need to cycle the water twice,this then creates the problem of adjusting the settings from inside the tent so the unit doesnt cut out.The automatic cut out really is annoying,With the burners on full bore and the flow rate on the minimum,you will get a comfortable shower with average temp tap water,just dont think you are getting the heat you will from your house hot water system.
On the plus,all the fittings,hoses,pumps are of good quality and didnt leak or fail.

Disappointed!!! – Brought it because of hearing good reviews and seeing them everywhere.. to be honest it’s a price of junk.. set it up properly got 2 good showers the first night.. second night wouldn’t go above 30 degrees.. got a full gas bottle and clean water tank.. pumps already stopped working.. it’s 3 days old.. upset is an understatement compared to the wife’s thoughts!! WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK – This is a complete piece of junk. I have used a 10000L gravity feed tank, buckets of water and even connected to mains water. This thing keeps getting to hot or does not have enough pressure. It turns off completely after a minute or two even when set at the lowest or any heat setting and all different water pressures. I now stand at the joolca and regulate the temperature and flow so that it does not go cold or switch off when my wife and son use it.

protecting the unit from any wind it worked well, but this is something that would cause frustration and should not be required unless in high wind conditions where it would be understandable. It is definitely a better package than its competitors when it comes to fittings i.e. hoses, accessories, water pump and water filter. In combination with the ensuite tent it is a well thought out package and I so far am happy with it.

The guys at Joolca are amazing, a few emails back & forth, the next thing I know, I received one of their hilarious emails informing me that a replacement unit is on its way. Nothing better than a warm shower after getting covered in camp gunge at the end of the day (maybe more) & the Joolca definitely delivers that. Added with the awesome customer service, I recommend this to anyone that’s interested in camping showers.

We are very pleased with the Joolca, easy to set up & use works great – Everything works as described, we had a minor issue that was quickly sorted out by the Customer Service department. There was a very slight leak where the shower head screwed on, this was replaced quickly at no charge. The customer service was fantastic, a rare thing these days! With Joolca camping is fantastic! – I've only used it once but it works well. It wont get super hot like a house hot water system but then again this is not a shower you stand under for half an hour. Very good product – I have had the Hottap now for over 4 years. It works really well. The after sales service is second to none. They even replaced a cracked fitting with free postage after 4 years. was a very small manufacturing fault with one of the pop out buttons on one of the poles and we weren't going to worry about it coz it was all set up but when this was mentioned to Cam at Joolca he was so helpful and just couldn't accept that there was a small problem and offered a full new frame for the ensuite. We were truly amazed!! He sent us a whole new frame for the ensuite and we received it by express post in just days. This is the type of review I read before buying and that is why we bought from Joolca. Great Product but have to keep out of a small breeze – I had no issue using the Hottap straight out of the box. It is simple to set up. Used it a few times using mains water. However took it camping to use with a pump and went through all water trying to get it to stay lit due to the breeze. So tip is make it breeze proof by taping up vents. Good service by Joolca.
