Really love the Buttonhole foot, it’s the biggest one I have ever seen in a home sewing machine. This is my back up sewing machine for when my Janome 6700P is being fixed or serviced. I have used it near constantly for months, great for shirts and waistband buttonholes , as well as construction. I don’t expect much of auto threaders but it is still working. I do think you need to be experienced for a Juki machine, not one for beginners. Being able to change the width of buttonholes is a good innovation. It has a hard cover and good lighting.
Follow-up · The Juki can handle very tricky fabrics with pressure foot adjustmentthe way it stiches and the great buttonhole foot . I don't have a favoutite button style except the reienforced ones that go over twice. Like most sewing machines the needle has to be in the right place for the auto threader to work.
Purchased in at Hobbysew for $1,695.

The worst sewing machine I have ever owned – I bought this machine online without trying it. I began to have problems virtually straight away. The machine was sent back to the dealer at MY cost. There was a significant timing issue. It was fixed and sent back . The self threading mechanism stopped working a month of virtually no use, the dealer telling me that this was to be expected. The machine constantly snags cotton through the bobbin area & at the top machanism where the cotton runs. It remains a brand new machine as I can’t use it. I have just tried to quilt with it and the bobbin casing is jamming or slipping, I don’t know which. It is unusable and I have now decided to offload it all together. I may as well have ripped up money A waste of $2000. The dealer was totally unhelpful after my 3 star review and didn’t return my emails. All attempts to contact JUKI failed. Stay away from this machine.
